First time to UK and was great!

Amazing porters lodge, beautiful attention to detail, very comfortable. Hot tub was an absolute treat. All the facilities to cook during your stay. Perfect place to escape for a relaxing weekend with some lovely walks on the doorstep. Will absolutely be back one day!

Very nice place off the beaten path. Donna was very nice and when there was an issue that came up she was quick to address it and make it right. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful weekend in Ann's lovely home. It was beautifully clean and fresh on arrival, spacious and homely. The bedrooms were good sized with lovely cosy bedding . The living / kitchen area was bright and airy, with a very well equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean, with nice toiletries and fluffy towels. The garden was lovely with a nice seating area and lots of sunshine. We had everything we needed for a great home from home experience. The cottage was in great location, a few minutes walk to the shops and the gorgeous Elie Beach. Excellent communication with Ann, very happy to recommend this fabulous place 😊

Our family had an amazing stay at the coal house,kid friendly with toys they can play with, very clean and had all the stuff we needed Carla and Alan were great host and fast to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for anyone that has kids Thank you again

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

It was a beautiful getaway! A paradise close to the city. Amazing house, felt like a home away from home! The attention to detail in the house was different from anywhere else we've been in the past. It was stacked with all sorts of equipment and anything you would ever need. Beautiful garden with gorgeous lights. The fireplace was where we spent most of our time. The house is most besutiful that was is shown in the pictures. It located in a nice place near the bus station to the center of a the town. Katie and his husband are great hosts

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

A beautiful apartment for our family of four. We were staying in Edinburgh for a wedding and it provided a really lovely, homely base. The host was responsive when I asked for information about amenities (iron!). The flat was really well set up - comfortable beds, stunning artwork and a very lovely setting. We didn't use the kitchen apart from for teas and coffees. We ate tapas at Malvarosa at the top of the street and pastries from Twelve Triangles in the morning - both highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Ruth’s place during our weekend away in Edinburgh. Very cosy and clean, it was the perfect location close to bus and tram routes. Ruth was very helpful and responded quickly with our queries. A lovely host, thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home

Sophie's place was what we were looking for: a regular flat in a small town in a neighborhood between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and that's what we got. We stayed three nights and were very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything you need. Would stay there again for sure.

A beautiful, cosy, warm flat practically on the beach in Portobello. The flat is so quiet in the evenings, and the beach is perfect for long walks. The city is really close by bus or uber. I would absolutely stay here again when I come to Edinburgh.

We loved our stay at 1881. The colour, furnishings, 2 great bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, excellent kitchen. Borrowed an excellent novel while there and finished it. Jak and Kerri are fabulous, friendly hosts who go above and beyond with info, communication etc. Short walk to the lovely Aberdour Silver Sands beach where you can get fantastic fish and chips, overlooking the water. On the Fife Coastal path and we stayed here rather than Edinburgh and caught the train in from Aberdour station, a short walk away. Highly recommend!

Myself and my partner had an amazing time here from arrival till we left. Leigh was nothing shy of being a fantastic host! She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and always responds quickly if you have a question or need something. The cabins were pristine and beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back in the future.

I would like to say a big thank you to Leigh for everything she was so helpful over message. I met her in person and such a lovely lady. Everything was clean and tidy, helpful information and was only a message away if needed with a fast reply. I would highly recommend here for a trip away as I would 100% come back. I planned this for a surprise for the other haft as she’s never stayed in one or been in a hot tub. The views are so nice around the area and so private. When you can tell they have put there heats into this that means the most. Thank you again Leigh. We enjoyed every moment and didn’t want to leave.

We here for 2 nights to give our elderly dog Kiera a 'last holiday' and when we arrived, we were blown away by the cabin. The hosts vibe shines through in all the little details. Unfortunately, Kiera took a turn for the worse after spending just 5 hours here and we had to head home to the vets. Lotte was extremely understanding and compassionate when we had to leave the cabin early. We are gutted we didn't get to spend the full time here to appreciate it's full experience, but wouldn't hesitate in booking again. We plan to book here again every year to remember the time we had with Kiera. The cabin is located in a little piece of heaven and is exactly what you need to get off grid and forget about life for a while. the record player was a great touch too! 10/10

We've had stays at both of Gavin's cabins for several weeks now whilst working locally. Fab spot, comfortable, and very happy to visit again!

Mike and Sandy were truly wonderful hosts – warm, attentive, and very supportive throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome from the very first moment and were always available if we needed anything. The house itself is beautiful – clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’re deeply grateful for the experience and would happily return anytime. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful and heartwarming place to stay.

We were only in the cabin for one night as we were travelling on. But we liked it very much.
