Mortimer Trail Mews

The hosts were amazing, helpful and very friendly with great recommendations. The property was spotless, very well kitted out and felt homely with the addition of a relaxing beautiful garden to enjoy the sunshine. The breakfasts were spectacular and couldn't be faulted. We are very well travelled and it's great to find such a fantastic property and would highly recommend. We look forward to a return stay for some more exploring.

Weather was good so we sat outside . So peaceful. LOVED LOVED the place.

RewildThings - Sky

Our stay was incredible. It was quiet, peaceful with beautiful views from the treehouse. The kitchen was so well equipped which made cooking meals so much fun! We also got so many recommendations on what to do around the area and every single place we stopped by did not disappoint. Everything was extremely neat and clean, and we loved the way the space was decorated. Overall a 10/10 experience, would definitely be back!!

Brook house farm flat. Charming studio flat

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a very enjoyable stay at Brook Farm House. Coming from the USA it was lovely to stay in a historic building - enormous old A-frame wood beams (with the cross beam high enough that I didn't bump my head and I'm 6'4" tall), wonky floors. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. I stayed there 4 weeks cooking for myself and never found the kitchen lacking. It's a rural setting - there are chickens, horses and sheep on the property. It's on the edge of a small village, Bircher, which doesn't have facilities for visitors, but in Yarpole a mile away there's a community run shop in the church with an amazing stock and a cafe above that serves excellent coffee and home made cakes. Shan is a pleasant host, friendly but not intrusive.

Our stay here was incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice! It was immaculate and really clean. We loved the window balcony looking out across the county side. It was such a peaceful location with walks just on your doorstep. Would definitely stay again!

The Cabin

ElenaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fiona is a great host! We enjoyed staying in the Cabin at her farm very much! The most beautiful surroundings, very peaceful location. The highlight of the trip was cuddles with baby lambs Fiona had at her farm! Our dog had a blasting time playing with other super friendly dogs at the farm, and even tried to make friends with horses :) Lots of opportunities for hiking. Pub down the road had nice dinner options and great assortment of beers/ciders. Fiona is super friendly host, she showed us around, gave ideas and directions where to go for a hike, we enjoyed our stay very much and certainly wished it could be longer.
