Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Historic Wykoff Jail Haus

Come explore the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus. The Jail Haus was built the late 1800’s and is owned by the city of Wykoff. Bike trails, trout fishing, Forestville State park, and cave exploration. There is kayaking and tubing 10 minutes away. Open over the winter months for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and other winter activities. Playgrounds, restaurants, convenience / gas station all within walking distance. Located 40 miles south of Rochester in a town of 450 people.

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

The Cozy Confluence is uniquely nestled between Rock Creek and the beautiful Cedar River. The home is spacious yet cozy. There is a large attached deck where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee while listening to the creek babble nearby. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this is the place for you! This barn refinished into a rustic cabin will give you the feeling that you are in the middle of the woods while having the convenience of being in town. Located just minutes from downtown Clear Lake, the historic Surf Ballroom, and City Beach, this is the perfect get-away spot! A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.
