This place is a hidden gem in Kalpa with majestic view of Kinner Kailash ranges. We were mesmerised by the mountain ranges surrounding this place and each room is placed so beautifully with just the perfect view. It can't get any better. And, the hospitality shown by Rawat Ji was extraordinary. He took utmost care of us, made exquisite figure licking good Kinnauri food never heard of before and made sure that we had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely come back as soon as we get a chance and we totally recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a peaceful stay under the majestic Himalayas. Thanks a lot to Rawat Ji and team, we wish nothing but the best for you. Hope to be here again soon. Much love, Chhavi & Amit

Devalyamm- A Home Stay

KavithaRating, 5 stars36 months ago
We enjoyed the stay in the traditional himachali cottage surrounded by the apple trees and also facing the valley. The view from the glass windows especially during the rains is the most memorable experience of the stay. The host served us good food and we also got a chance to taste a local pickle which is homemade. Thank u for the hospitality.

Treehouse | Adventure | Ojuven by LivingStone

Its a really adventure place and the houses made are completely of wood. Its just amazing to stay in this place. The food served us was very good and home cooked. There are quiet a lot things to do at this place though we were not able to get chance as we were tired with our long trip. But just get there and have fun. The owners of the place are always present at the property and are really humble and always listen what is asked for. It was a great stay for us. Will surely visit again.

Himalayan Homestay Uttrakhand

DipendraRating, 5 stars45 months ago
My wife and I stayed for a night prior to our Har Ki Dun trek. It's a perfect homestay with a traditional family in the heart of Soud village. The room is adjacent to the rooms of other family members and is minimalistic. The view from the common balcony is soothing. The food which was garden fresh and simple was served with lots of love. A big thanks to Devender for all the help, information and assistance. He organized small treks (on payment) and we were escorted by chirpy little teenagers from their family who made it worthwhile. Clarify on the costs of food/trek beforehand in order to avoid surprises. The toilets are not attached with the rooms and theres a fly menace if you eat in the common balcony. All in all an simple yet exotic experience with a beautiful traditional joint family.

Whispering Orchard the Homestay

Sankri (or Mori-Sankri) is a small town on a steep mountain side near (~500 ft. from the entrance of) the Govind Pashu Vihar National Park. Rohan provided contact information for us to find a man in Sankri, Shubham, who spoke excellent english. Shubham was very helpful and a great person to be in contact with as he let us keep our bags at his shop, let us use the wifi at his shop, and coordinated communication with our hosts the entire time. The house is down the hill about a 7 min walk from town. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view. For 150 rupees per meal, we were offered tea, dinner, and breakfast which was delicious and a superb experience of what life in the Himalayan foothills is like. Really fantastic stay! Thank you to our hosts and to Shubham!
