When you're looking for a complete break from everyday life here, you can do it, and everyday things get a new meaning. An electric cabin allows you to be present here and now. A separate summer kitchen on a cliff with the most stunning scenery is a point for enjoyment. Gas stove and grill in use. A bed for one in a barn, a loft in the sauna room and a sofa bed that can be spread out. You'll also have access to a rowing boat and a subboard. A lot heats up for a separate fee. A fire pit on the beach. There are a lot of stairs in this home, so please note when booking.

Kulkurien Kämppä

You are warmly welcome to stay at Kulkurien Kämppä, where Saimaa opens directly behind the window. In this cabin, you can see the sunrises from the best spot and you can admire when Saimaa becomes quiet at night. You will also be able to follow the dizzying flight of birds up close and perhaps see a pair of swans flying near the cabin. (NOTE: The cabin in the picture will be moved to another location in the spring of 2025 and will be replaced by two new similar cabins. Don't be confused by the photos, they will change as soon as I get new photos of the new cabins!)

You will have access to a 78-square-meter winter house with two bedrooms and an electrified barn with 2 different sleeping spaces. A total of 8 beds. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, dishwasher, microwave, air heat pump, wood sauna, shower, indoor toilet and washing machine. From the sauna, you'll take a dip in a lake with a sandy bottom that gets slightly deeper. Great way to get there and in the surroundings good for outdoor, mushroom picking, and berry picking. BBQ canopy, 2 bikes, 2 kayaks, and a rowing boat also available to you.

The property has a sandy beach, a wood-fired sauna, a lean-to, a patio on the beach, a well-equipped kitchen, a Weber gas grill, 2 toilets, a shower, an air heat pump, 2 SUP boards, a rowing boat, a trampoline, children's books and games. Close to a disc golf course. Here you will experience wonderful sunsets and you may spot a Saimaa ringed seal. Perfect destination for those who appreciate nature, tranquility and comfort, suitable for families with children.

Beach sauna on the shore of Lake Saimaa

Looking for the perfect escape from everyday life? A small lakeside sauna awaits on the shore of Lake Saimaa, where there is space for two and there is a small pot mat. The cottage has a small kitchen for spinning calories. The traditional wood sauna gets the best steam, and the carrying water comes straight from Lake Saimaa. You can fish from your own beach and in the evening you can roast sprats on a campfire. Kayaks, fishing gear, sauna and husky tours available for an additional fee. All this only 12 km from the city!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A new little cottage with an outdoor hot tub, dining area and barbecue on the terrace. Private beach. Large windows overlooking Lake Saimaa. Haapavuori rises behind the cottage. Peace and quiet in nature, which you can experience here. You can access the beach and swimming all year round from the pier. Indoor toilet and shower. Sup board, kayak and rowboat are also included in the price. My house is next to the cottage. However, you will have complete peace and privacy.

The new, fully equipped villa is situated in a tranquil location on the shore of the clear and pristine Lake Kuolimo. It is the perfect place to escape from everyday life and enjoy nature. The main building is located on top of a hill, and almost every window offers beautiful lake views. Along the shoreline, there is also a separate sauna building. The villa is suited for families or small groups. Parties or other big catherings are not allowed. The stated number of guests must not be exceeded.

Off-the-grid glamping Spend the night in a spacious 36 m² bell tent on our quiet retreat site in Finnish nature. Equipped with 2 comfortable field beds, extra blankets, mobile LED lights and WiFi on the premises. There are power points on the premises to charge your phone. Enjoy a wood-fired sauna (€10) or a sauna with infusion session (€15), last round 8.30 p.m. Book a spiritual session and experience deep peace. Sleeping masks are ready for the light Finnish summer nights.

Cottage Kotiranta is located on the shore of Lake Saimaa on Taipalsaari. The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you can spend some time in the spacious yard playing games or observing the birds from the terrace. The cottage's yard is bordered by a beach with a gloriously deepening sand/clay bottom. There is also a pier for swimming or sunbathing. You'll have access to a rowboat, so you can fish if you want to. Many guests are delighted with the abundant fish catches.
