I have stayed at just a hand full of airbnb. I have to say this was the best one on my list. The pictures really do match the house. Beautiful area , extremely clean. I felt right at home and then some. Would definitely stay here again if we revisit the area. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We had a wonderful stay with Julie and Dan! They literally thought of every little detail and were very accommodating. Any questions we had they answered within minutes and we look forward to staying there again! If you like peaceful nature, beautiful surroundings and prime fishing this is the place to be! The Carpenter's Cabin in Hocking Hills was fantastic-- we spent a long weekend with another family (4 adults, 3 children ages 5-7) and there was plenty for everyone to be comfortable and entertained. The house's design is very cool. The kids had several areas to play in both indoors and outside, along with games and books. The kitchen is very functional. Several nice outdoor spaces to enjoy. Great location in terms of travel to many of the attractions in the area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stylish and fun getaway in proximity to NE Ohio treasures.

The Amber Hills Lodge is an amazing stay for any large groups who want to stay in and never be bored. The cabin is huge and very stylish. We spent most of our time in the theater room watching movies, but then would intersperse our movie watching time with pole barn time- playing basketball or using the golf sim. The place was clean, we had no issues with sleeping arrangements as there are 9 beds (10 if you count the pull out couch in the master) and there was always something to do! It’s close enough to Lancaster that we were even able to go there no issues when we wanted to. Our host, Amanda, was incredibly kind, and communication was quick and clear. The ONLY “bad” thing I have to say about the spot is that the driveway is very steep and because of the rain it had created quite the bumpy experience getting down into it, but it was not too bad. All in all, this is a place I would easily recommend to anyone looking for a stay with so much to do you’ll never be bored staying in!

This is one of the most thoughtfully put together spaces that I've stayed at in my 10+ years on Airbnb. The farmhouse had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend getaway. Everything was extremely clean and organized; it is apparent that Marjorie really cares about her guests.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Logan, Ohio! Our group of 11 fit comfortably, with plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out together. The large common areas were perfect for spending time as a group, and the layout made everything feel spacious and cozy at the same time. The location couldn’t have been better, with just a short drive to all the Hocking Hills trails we wanted to explore. The host was incredibly proactive and sent us everything we needed ahead of time, which made the entire trip smooth and stress-free. We’ve been taking trips like this for years, and this was by far the best cabin we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

The whole experience with Rosalie was amazing. Very responsive, very kind, and just overall a great transaction. The home exceeded expectations, it was a lot of small thoughtful things- bathroom amenities in case of forgotten items, coffee bar, notes and instructions were so clear. Wonderful property and host!

Great place! My group and I had a wonderful time on our trip. The cabin is gorgeous, the porch swing was wonderful, and the hot tub and the fire pit were fun! Unfortunately the pool was ice cold even in 75 degree sunshine, so no swimming, but there was a lot of other things to do so it was okay. Location is great- very peaceful area, trails are super close, and not far out of Logan for restaurants and grocery stores. Absolutely would stay here again. Thanks!

This is a great place for some time away with the girls, friends, or family. Many things to do at the cabin and not too far from the brewery. Nice firepit, and it was helpful to have a choice between a hot tub or a warm pool with jets.

My girlfriend and I spent our anniversary weekend here where we also got engaged! By far the most relaxing and peaceful weekend we’ve ever spent together. Thank you Amanda & family for hosting such a nice stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay and found the place clean, inviting and the decor was perfect. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and it was a great stay all around!

Lovely cabin and location for a long weekend. Clean with enough towels, hand soap, garbage bags, and TP for our weekend (even left the TP we brought behind :) ). Little things like a dog dish so I didn't have to use ours and the solar light in front so you can see the cabin from the road at night are special touches. Location was nice as it was close to Logan for a quick dinner out or to grab food to make in the cabin, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. Appreciated having some level of WiFi, but be warned it isn't enough to work from or use multiple devices - which was fine by me this weekend! We enjoyed playing games and cards and were only slightly sad to not be able to watch March Madness as easily as at home. My only wish for this cabin is to have a washer/dryer after a day of muddy hiking and playing in streams. Did I mention how clean it was when we arrived? Wonderful place to stay!

Very clean and a great place to stay for a family, would go back.

The cabin and atmosphere matched photos and descriptions to a tee. The location cannot be beat as it is within a short drive to a great town and natural hiking opportunities. We loved the hot tub, spacious bedrooms, and game area. This space was perfect for my friends and I to relax at the lodge at night and hike all day. Truly was a wonderful experience!

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

Mayra’s place offered us a much needed peaceful and serene experience. We loved everything about this getaway from our beautiful cabin to the trails and water falls close by. The cabin in the woods was the perfect place for our 3day track meet at OU. A quick 15 minute drive and we were on campus. The evenings back at the cabin were delightful and a great way to relax after a day out in the sun.

Margot and her husband John, and of course Jim the herd dog were all extremely welcoming! My husband and I felt like family! We wanted a peaceful, relaxing getaway for my husband's birthday/our wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed at all! I am a big Highland cow fan, and John took us out to the pasture to get right with the cows! I got the most beautiful pictures to print and hang in my kitchen! Margot and John are such a warm, loving couple. You can just feel the warmth from their hearts! We will definitely be coming back, we want to bring our grandchildren next time.

very peaceful and quiet get away with a lot to do in the area if you want to venture out. Great location attractions nearby as well as a Walmart. We enjoy the stay very much, definitely recommend if you are looking to get away from city life for awhile. Barb was responsive to any questions I had.

Maria’s cabin was cozy and the setting was quiet. We enjoyed staying at the cabin and recommend it to others.

Chris was so kind and responsive. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. The fire pit was so nice to have on summer nights while we were there and contributed memories to our stay. My boyfriend and I hiked a lot while we were there and the drive was absolutely doable to the best hiking areas.

Matt was quick to respond and super friendly. place was very clean and comfortable., great fishing, very clean. Great bird watching saw a couple pileated woodpeckers. Great lake view. The porch view was awesome. The kids loved it. We had a couple special requests and Matt fulfilled with great accomodations. Highly recommend for an inexpensive getaway!!!!!!!!
