Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Ouachita

We had a wonderful stay! As clean freaks, this place met all our expectations and more. Felt clean, looked clean, was clean! Extremely comfy and had so many extras for added comfort! He left us snacks, s'mores fixins, and a fully stocked coffee bar. He has a-tips, cotton balls, and shower supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Lots of extra pillows and blankets, lots of games, a fire pit, tons of dishes both for cooking and serving/eating. He had laundry detergent and dryer sheets also and even little makeup remover wipes stocked in the bathroom. The covered deck overlooked a wooded area which was peaceful in the morning and evening. Robert checked in multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. We travel quite a bit (military family) and he's definitely one of the top hosts. Everything was awesome! You will not regret this booking! Just heads up...We spotted several deer during our stay which was fun but be aware (as with any wooded/rural area) that deer may cross the

We had a lovely stay at this adorable yurt. The inside was updated and well decorated. We had plenty of room to hang out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the Hot Springs area, but not in town.

What can I say about the view - heavenly! We even did a little walk up to the top of the mountain, which was a great morning workout to get the heart pumping. My kiddo also very much enjoyed the bunk bed situation and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Overall, the house was as described, the check-in instructions were very clear, and we were close to all the things we wanted to check out in Hot Springs/the lake.

The house and property are exactly as described. “Serene” is the perfect word to describe our family’s experience at this property. Julie and Rory are friendly, accommodating, and very responsive hosts. Thank you! The direct lake access was the high note. Our family enjoyed the views, grilling, fishing, and kayaks. The area is very safe and quiet. The house is modern and very clean. Many little touches around the house made the stay even more enjoyable. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay at this place!

Kristi's place was absolutely perfect for our girls trip. The location was less than 30 minutes from everything we wanted to do, secluded enough to unwind after a long day of hiking or digging for crystals or shopping or visiting the bath houses. The house was well stocked and was very comfortable for just hanging out and spending time together. I would 100% recommend staying here!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Everything was as listed and more! Lance was a great host and was just a phone call away if we needed him. I would definitely recommend this listing!!!

Beautiful home, felt very quiet and peaceful. Everything made us feel right at home. The only thing was the walk to the dock was steep, but doable. We had lots of fun on the lake with the canoes. Also, we appreciated all the accommodations for little ones since we had our grandchildren (2y & 6y) with us.

This stay was awesome! Really enjoyed the privacy and atmosphere.

Our host Deborah was amazing. Very helpful with things to do in town. Cabin was clean and neat. The room was connected to the lake house that host was staying in but still felt private.

This place is absolutely lovely!!!

Beautiful and relaxing stay. Place was very clean and spacious, we appreciated the pool and sauna area as well which weren’t busy on a weekend in late May. The only thing was the office was closed all weekend so we weren’t able to do any of the activities offered like mini golf, kayaking, or paddle boating but everything else was available and we had a great time nonetheless. Also, the garbage from the previous stay was still there (to the side of the back porch) and it smelled a bit so I mentioned it to Candace. She offered to pick it up but never did which wasn’t a big deal but I hope they make sure to do that in the future.

Great location to the town and Wegner Crystal Mines. Cozy place to relax and sleep. Very clean

This apartment was absolutely perfect for us! Very pretty and so spacious. We had two couples and the best four days in Hot Springs.

It’s small, but very comfortable. Everything was very clean. We would definitely stay here again. It’s a great location, close to the historic downtown and hiking trails. The hosts are very responsive and offer good suggestions for things to do and places to eat.

this was the best vacation my husband and I ever took!!! we had a blast....these few days were sweet and were definitely gifted from up above🤗🤪 Our host was awesome & we are already wanting to plan another vacation with them real soon! My hubby and I totally recommend Dennis & his beautiful wife.... they were awesome!🥰

Lexy’s place was beautiful and in a great location. 10 to 15 minutes away from the mines. Walking distance to eat. And the rock washing station out back was perfect. Having a washer and dryer was so helpful. The place was super clean and everything you would need. Looking forward to staying again when we plan our next Crystal hunting trip.

I Absolutley love this place! It’s so peaceful and pleasant. You have everything you need at disposal. The cabin is always clean and tidy. I love it. I love the handmade look and old time feel of the cabin. It takes me back to my childhood hood. The hot tub is an added bonus and the grill is one of my favorites because I love cooking outdoors in the evenings. The porch has the curtains for added privacy. There’s always a squirrel and a coon that comes to visit me and it just adds to my visit. I saw a deer this weekend while I was drinking coffee and it was awesome! Anna is always accommodating and very responsive. If you need anything she’s right there. I highly recommend this place! It’s one of my favorites. ❤️ Book it you won’t regret it !!! It’s secluded yet right in town too.

We had the most beautiful wedding at this location! The beautiful creek was the star of the show for all of our guest! We had our reception in the barn and omg!! Couldnt have been anymore perfect!! The owners are AMAZING! Any questions we had were answered fast and we had the best time!

The Cozy Moose was exceptional! It is exactly what we needed to get away from every day life and live the mountain life for a couple days. Everything was as shown in pictures. Ms. Samantha is a wonderful hostess and very sweet! She is also very informational about recommendations on what to do, eat, see, etc! This place is definitely worth your viewing and stay for a romantic or for a couples getaway! 11/10 stars for sure! We love the Cozy Moose! 🫎❤️

This space was perfect for a weekend getaway. It is private, the scenery is gorgeous, and it has everything you need, while being close enough to restock supplies as needed.

We felt right at home at Sharon’s place. Perfect spot to unwind, relax and cast your fishing pole. Quiet surroundings and great views! Sharon was a very lovely and made everything easy for us.

The cabin interior displayed fitting rustic decor. The accent lighting on the porch & fire pit adds ambience to the outdoor element. A great option to serve as a base to your local adventures or circle up around the firepit (weather impacted our stay) Things we would think someone considering this cabin would like to know: If you want "secluded" this is not your spot. *see other reviews about the road, neighbors, random gunshots, and public parking by the bridge (we experienced all of these too, but not bothered by it) The TV does scream go outside, its small and very dated (you should be outside anyway) Be sure to check in during daylight (it's Arkansas and we literally fought our way through a swarm of giant beetles to get to the keypad & inside with a late check-in) Bathroom sink hot water is instant so be careful! Very minimal kitchen area but has a toaster oven, microwave, and mini fridge. 3 kcups, 2 bottles of water, S&P shakers, and electric griddle Overall we enjoyed it!!

Cozy cabin with scenic views of the water. Furniture and decor was impressive. The jetted tub was a plus, very relaxing. Loved the place. Only down side was it was hard finding the location. Other than that, everything was top notch.

The Wildcat Cabin was a great place to stay! So close to Hot Springs, but also out of the way and very quiet. It was an amazing little cabin with all the essentials. Very comfortable and affordable. During our stay, we were able to visit Jean Petit SP, Lake Catherine SP, Lake Ouachita SP, and Hot Springs NP without driving too far. Very centralized and accessible to many locations. We would definitely stay here again.
