Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Inari

This house is an ideal accomodation for a holiday in the Varanger. The house and kitchen are very well equiped. Each person has a separate bedroom: beds are made and towels provided. The house is centrally located in the center of the Varanger from which you can travel to all the different places of interest. Our host Enid was very helpful and responded quickly to any question asked. There is a supermarket located at 1,5 km from the house which is very convenient because there are few shops in the region. We were a company of 5 bird watchers.: we spotted 116 different birds species during a week stay, and also a whale, moose, fox and arctic fox. It was a great and unforgettable expercience, we will probably revisit the region within some years.

Superb environment. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on the river, great northern lights, ... Very nice cabin renovated with taste and good equipment. We will be happy to come back in the summer to test the outdoor sauna and hot tub.

The house was really friendly with a good overall atmosphere. It was perfect for these 4 nights with some friends. The view is beautiful from the house, the sauna is pretty authentic, and we really enjoyed laying in the fresh snow afterwards.

Great & dear host, very fast response time. The house is super big. Great starting point for northern lights, we also saw some directly above the house. It is best to take a car or note that not so many buses run.

We stayed at the property for a week and felt very much at home. Everything you could possibly need is there, the descriptions were great and you can actually reach everything with a nice walk. Near the property, there are many activities you can do, otherwise you can relax in front of the fireplace or in the sauna. We would always come back! :-)

We had a great time at this beautiful cottage. The bedding and amenities are perfect. The location is ideal. Mike is very available and attentive. We highly recommend it.

Great apartment, wonderful location. Everything you need within walking distance. Really cozy. The only complaint is the high cleaning fee that must be paid. Especially because you are also asked to remove the bedding. We did it, but in our opinion, the fees would already be inside, not having to do it. But all in all, we felt very comfortable. So would still come again! :)

Pert's place was great for our family. Services within walking distance and ski trails too. Definitely worth the price.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Beautiful surroundings, clean and has all the amenities to enjoy your stay.

Juhani is very friendly and kind. He answered all our questions about access and even bought additional equipment. Unfortunately the extreme climatic conditions (-30°) and a totally snowy access in the middle of the night forced us to walk in the powder, the cold also forced us to shorten our stay but this cottage is a haven of peace , perfectly located by the lake with electricity, the latter has all the necessary comforts. Thank you to Juhani for agreeing to shorten our stay and for all his kindness. In winter I recommend this accommodation to athletes to access it and people accustomed to living conditions in the heart of nature.

Nice apartment for a week in Saariselkä as a base for all kinds of trips in this beautiful area. There were two of us, but you can also stay here with the four of us. I would book here again!

We had a great time with the kids in Saariselkä. The apartment is easily accessible by bus from the airport. Within walking distance there is everything you need for your stay. Would come back right away. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely experience there. The house is big, clean and really beautiful. Jarmo was really kind and guided us to find northern lights. I will come back for sure. For me, 10/10.

We had the most magical time at the Kieppi cottage. It was the perfect mix of being able to completely ‘unplug’ and enjoy the intensely beautiful nature in Lapland while still having all modern amenities in this ultra-cozy space (and a nice grocery store nearby). Hannu and Anne-Marie are wonderful hosts and gladly helped us with anything we needed during our stay. The excursions with 70 North were 10/10!! Absolutely epic days, thanks again for the most amazing trip!

The house is perfect, the lake is a dream place for aurora watching, and meeting reindeer ! Ilkka is of great help to organize activities. I would highly recommend this place.

We have had an absolutely wonderful time, the house was beautiful, warm, cosy and so well equipped in a fabulous location within walking distance to all shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will return. Saariselka is so beautiful too. Ari was excellent in communicating and responding and very flexible with our arrival and departure timings. Wonderfully comfortable, well designed, extremely well equipped cabin in a beautiful place. We stayed in February, surrounded by sublime snowy forest, solitude, and many nights with the Northern Lights. Stores and gas station are a 10 minute drive, just south of the border with Norway. I can't imagine a better place in a winter wonderland.

We had a wonderful and peaceful time. Just absolutely great.
