Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Holcombe

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully remodeled cabin on Lake Winter, and I can't recommend it enough! The cabin features an abundance of windows, creating a wonderful feeling of being surrounded by nature. At night, the lights streaming through the trees added a magical touch to the atmosphere. One of the standout features was the heated floors in the bathroom, which were a delightful surprise! Eric, the host, was incredibly responsive and communicated quickly. He provided excellent recommendations for local dining and amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend planning a visit to this stunning cabin. It’s the perfect getaway!

We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay! The cabin was spotless, felt brand new and came with all of the amenities we needed, and more. Every morning we woke up to gorgeous sunrises and a beautiful lake view. The lake was clean and peaceful and we spotted turtles and lots of fish while paddle boarding… and a bald eagle while relaxing in the hot tub! Our kids would have loved the game room but this trip was just the two of us :) Angie was super kind and always very responsive. Highly recommend! We hope to come back again soon. My family and I go on an annual getaway and it can be challenging to find a good place that is affordable to comfortably host 15, look no further than this destination. The “cabin” (mansion) is enormous and yet feels like a cozy cabin getaway. There are large rooms for eating together, relaxing on the two-level covered walk-around decks, or fishing, swimming and kayaking off the new dock into crystal clear water. Seriously an amazing place and the host is very considerate and accommodating!!! Will likely come back again next year!

Highly recommend this cabin! We wanted a spacious cabin for a getaway with friends where we could cook, eat together and relax and this was so perfect. The kitchen is amazing, the hot tub was a lovely perk, there was more than enough room. When we had some issues getting up the icy winding driveway the host came to help us in person, above and beyond friendliness and support.

We had an amazing weekend! The dual properties accommodated our large family between the two cabins. The kids loved paddle boating and fishing. There was room to do everything, along with enjoying the lakeside view. The fire pit areas were also able to accommodate all of us.

Beds were comfy and the surroundings were beautiful. Kitchen has essentials which were helpful and hot tub was wonderful.

Chelsea was a very responsive host. The cabin is exactly as described with plenty of activities to do. We had a great time there and would stay here again. Thanks for the opportunity!

Collin’s Hideout was the perfect cabin for a relaxing weekend getaway! Not only was the cabin beautiful, but so was the view from the back balcony looking out towards the lake. Even though it was rainy half of our stay we were still able to enjoy our time with the hot tub and card games. Getting out on the paddle boat, fishing, and having a fire was the perfect way to end our Saturday night! We even ended up catching 5 small mouth bass right off the dock! The two full kitchens were a great addition in helping store food and drinks! Andrea was a great host with fast communication! All the instructions from our arrival and check out were easy to understand. We will definitely be coming back, thank you so much for the amazing weekend!

This place is "ON" the Flambeau. Yard critters from whitetail, geese, ducks to turkey. Must try a pizza at the South Fork, walking distance.

Thad’s place was honestly perfect. They have thought of truly every detail needed for a nice cabin weekend: fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, games for adults, toys for kids, a box of workout items (bands, roller, etc) even fresh tennis balls for your pup. I also really appreciated how clean their place was. Not all lakefront cabins feel really clean, but they clearly take great care of their place. The outdoor area was so nice - plenty of games available, kayaks, canoes and SUP. The little beach is a huge plus too! It was great for my 9 month old daughter. The location is ideal - very quiet area and no major boat traffic. Also want to point out that their AC is amazing (our weekend temps were mid 90s and humid!). We will definitely be back to Thad’s place and are already looking forward to it!

We had a great stay at Gene’s place. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. The walk down to the lake is beautiful (like a nature trail). The home is well-equipped and has everything you need for a relaxing stay! It’s a beautiful retreat and a great place to recharge your batteries. I recommend it!

This is the perfect getaway cabin! My husband and I came for a few days to celebrate our anniversary and are so happy we booked this cabin. It was so cute, clean, and peaceful. The lake views are gorgeous and the cabin itself came with everything we needed. It is nestled away in a quiet neighborhood but close to delicious restaurants, wineries, and more! We will definitely be back. We also brought our dog and the neighborhood is very walkable but there are tons of hiking spots nearby. 10/10!

Such a peaceful lake-side escape—quiet, tree-filled, and perfect for unwinding. The trail down to the pond is steep but in a fun, adventurous way, and the view at the bottom is worth it. The driveway was a bit rough from recent rain (a few washed-out spots), but nothing you can’t handle with a little caution. It’s nature doing its thing. Overall, a cozy, tranquil spot that’s great for relaxing and reconnecting. Would absolutely come back!

Our group enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We saw sandhill cranes, deer, an eagle, and some very cute baby raccoons over our weekend stay.

We are frequent visitors to this relaxing, natural woodland cabin because it has everything we love without having to leave the property. Loons, beaver kits at play, trumpeter swans, wildflowers and lots of trails to wander. The cabin has been updated with a very comfortable sofa and new lighting making for a great place to stretch out with a book. We will undoubtably return.

A very comfortable place to stay very affordable prices very clean cozy easy accessible close to everything around the area great trails in Sawyer county both snowmobile and atv UTV great fishing and hunting in the area all kinds of things to do And by far this place was very accessible very affordable very clean and everything provided the only thing I didn't see around was a barbecue grill fire pit picnic tables fish cleaning station right there on the property everything was within 5 minute ride on ATVs utvs or snowmobiles and if you're there in the winter time they have a wood pellet stove to warm up around when you come in everything was provided as in their description very affordable very clean very comfortable with definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway

As advertised. Great Lake access and only about a mile from the nearest landing. Dock is a little high for smaller aluminum boats, would be nice if there were some tire bumpers but we made it work. Clean & comfortable for 3 guys.

Great place to stay. we didnt have the chance to use the fire pit but would be a great place to relax and have a fire right next to lake. Nice and handy area would be nice place to let the kids play in the lake.

Access to the property was via lock box, which woeked very well. The large screen TV was wonderful. There was a nice sized refrigerator/freezer. Nice water pressure in both bathrooms. Overall we had a very nice time at Lake Life Paradise....👍🙂

Beautiful house and property with plenty of space inside and out. Wish we had more time to spend at the house. Great basement with a lot of stuff to keep everyone in our group entertained when we were there.

Craig and Heidi were great hosts. They were quick to respond with answers if we had questions and even offered up some good fishing info. The cabin was perfect for our family fishing trip. We all loved the great view of the lake from the cabin. The fire pit was close the cabin and the kids enjoyed making s’mores and roasting marshmallows. The weather was a bit cold and rainy which made the fishing a little tough, but we did catch a few walleyes right from the dock. The lake has Moxi Lounge on the lake which we took our boat to a few times. The staff were really nice and they have fancy NA drinks for the kids served with candy. All in all we had a great time. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I were looking for a small honeymoon away from home where we can relax, fish, swim, and get out on the water. This place was great for all things and very affordable in today's economy. Worth every penny we paid. only two minor inconveniences, 1st is the tv that is provided if you plan to watch it at night or on a rainy day, the wall mount is not very good and hard to see the visuals at certain points. The second is if you plan to bring a child for the top bunk purpose, the ladder is on the wrong side and not easily accessible unless you can lift them up.

Our family of four had a wonderful weekend at The Bunk House! We had plenty of space for different sleeping needs and we loved having access to a frozen, snowy lake right in our backyard. We're looking forward to a return visit!
