Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Lake Forest

Uncommonly well supplied and furnished, this is one of our favorite Airbnbs anywhere. We’ve stayed a few times, and our experience has always been exceptional.

We enjoyed our experience in Crystal Lake and staying in this sweet home. Brent was an ideal host; accommodating, replied quickly, provided suggestions on local spots and even further recs once asked. His instructions are clear which made arrival/departure easy. The home was a great size, clean & we loved having a king bed & large master bedroom (great closet space too!) We enjoyed the balcony area overlooking the downtown area which was so fun to explore during our time there. Thanks again, Brent! We’ll be back.

5 star for sure! This place is a hidden gem, its so clean and has so many little extras to make you feel at home. I found seasoning to cook with,.coffee, tea, cream and sugar..and even a couple of pods for laundry. All of that plus an easy check-in, great parking space in the back (which you will need since street parking can be dicey) and the friendly neighbors made my stay wonderful. I stayed 7 nights and it is quiet at night so I felt very safe and got a good nights rest each night. I will definitely book again!!!

We had a great stay at Stephanie’s squeaky clean apartment. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, about 1 mile from Downtown Evanston. The kitchen was very well appointed and the snacks were appreciated. Stephanie has lots of local restaurant recommendations. Stephanie went above & beyond when she loaned us a tire pump when we had a flat tire & recommended a local garage.

We had a great time staying at the Hideaway Apartment in Palatine! It was easy to get inside and the apartment was nice. The place was very clean and organized, we felt very comfortable! There is a second floor deck, a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning! It was easy communicating with the hosts, overall it was a great experience staying at the Hideaway, would recommend!

Stayed here before and it’s just as he says. It’s away from the downtown traffic and noise but close enough to everything that it’s not out the way. It’s a spectacular place to stay and he is very friendly and very responsive if you have any questions or anything he always is willing to help and responded in a timely manner. Would recommend this place to anyone to stay. Will be back in the future due to the hospitality and location. He is an awesome host and you get exactly what’s in the description. 10 out of 10

This place is so restful! The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved the big roomy eat in kitchen with a view of the river. We loved sitting in the front room and watching the river and all of the wildlife - ducks, birds, chipmunks, squirrels and even fish in the water! And the sunsets were sensational!

We had the pleasure of staying here over our anniversary weekend with our 2 kiddos; it was our first vacation just our little family and it's was fantastic. Cristle was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us out when we had some issues on our end leading up to our trip. She was very thoughtful and kind and that alone was worth the 5 star rating. The home was very well kept and clean and had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. We had a lot of fun out on the paddle boat and playing in the yard. The screened in porch was also a nice bonus. Our girls enjoyed the park and playing the sand. Overall it was a very nice stay and we'd love to go back sometime soon.

We stayed at Rachell and Cyd’s for about 3 months after relocating to the area. We absolutely loved the home as well as the walkable neighborhood, park, and downtown. We were made to feel at home with tons of useful items, abundant clean linens, and a cozy space. Cyd was very responsive at all times. This lovely house is a no-brainer for a comfortable stay on the North Shore. We will miss our time here.

This house perfectly accommodated my family and I for almost 2 weeks. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedroom and bathrooms were very clean and the living room had lots of room for my toddlers to run around. We stayed during the winter and the house was pretty cold but they provide individual room space heaters to help, which was great! The host was very quick to respond with any questions we had and were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in this area.

Spent 5 nights at Bikash's AirBNB... May 26 - 31, 2025. Wife, dog and I were in the area for two Middle School Graduation ceremonies for two grandchildren. Overall, very positive experience. Very clean with well-equiped kitchen. Rain Shower in 2nd Bathroom a bonus. Would definitely come back. Bikash very helpful.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa22. The home is beautiful, luxurious, and impeccably maintained — everything was clean, spotless and thoughtfully arranged. It had all the essentials we needed for a comfortable extended stay with our family, including a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious layout. The hosts, Narcis and Gabriel, were fantastic — extremely responsive, clear in their communication. They provided detailed instructions that made check-in, check-out, and everything in between seamless. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and very family-friendly, with easy access to main roads — a great location if you're planning to explore Chicago without the stress of city parking. Having a car made it easy to get around, and the area itself felt peaceful and well-kept. If you're visiting the Chicago area and looking for a clean, elegant, and well-managed place to stay, I highly recommend Casa22. We would absolutely love to return!

This was a wonderful place. Our daughter graduated navy boot camp and she was able to sit in the backyard and relax by the lake. It was welcoming, inviting and peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be coming again. This was our first Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations.

Larry was a very accommodating and responsive host! The place was amazing and exactly as described. Plenty of room, amenities, and beautiful views. He made sure we had plenty of supplies and all the stuff for Smores!

We had a fantastic stay! James was extremely attentive and accommodating, communication was seamless from start to finish. The location was ideal for our family, just minutes from Six Flags, which made our trip so convenient. The house itself was incredibly spacious, giving everyone room to relax without feeling crowded. We especially appreciated waking up to the peaceful sound of birds chirping each morning, such a nice touch of nature. Every living area had its own TV, which made downtime easy for everyone, and the ping pong table added a fun extra activity for the family. The home was spotless upon arrival, very clean and well kept. You can tell the host takes pride in maintaining the property. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area!

When we were first looking for a place to stay, none of the available AirB&Bs looked great. A week later, we looked again, and suddenly Julia's place popped up. It was so much better looking, and with a fairer price, than any others I could find in the list. A two-bedroom that is a *real* two-bedroom, for the price that others were charging for a pull-out bed in the living room. It was just as beautiful in-person. We felt immediately at-home and comfortable. I'm someone who has insomnia, especially while traveling, but there, I had no problem sleeping somehow. Also, it truly is a short walk to the Blue Line, or even a just few steps from the 77 bus route, which goes to the Blue Line, or all the way right into downtown Chicago.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

Great location, and easy access to all main streets. The neighborhood is quiet, and very safe. The people in the neighborhood were very welcoming. The condo was nice, very spacious and a great value for the cost.

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

This is a WONDERFUL one bedroom apartment that is both private and spacious! The owner/host has the space fabulously decorated with an eclectic mix of original contemporary artwork and antiques. Nothing is generic about the space and it has been outfitted for guests with loving care. The host, Kaye, clearly puts much trust in her guests with her charming decor and furnishings. The amount of space, the privacy and the home-y feel make it a place we'd love to return to.

Lori’s place was amazing! The location was perfect, peaceful, yet centrally located near tons of things to do. Whether you want to explore or just head back to relax, it’s the ideal spot. I highly recommend taking your coffee out onto the balcony to enjoy the beautiful view, it was one of my favorite parts of the stay. Lori was incredibly responsive and checked in often to make sure I had everything I needed. I would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place to stay in Pilsen area just what we wanted! Close to downtown and amazing places to eat all around. Easy access to a lot of things to do. Beautiful place, extremely clean! We definitely enjoyed our stay at Laura’s!
