In front of the door, hiking trails and Lake Baee invite you to activity or recreation.

The house is ideal for couples or families, for business trips as well as for trips in a group or with pets.

A desk, which can be moved upwards, is available so that you can start your work directly. Wi-Fi and printer available. A small kitchen and a bathroom are included for your private use. And for a relaxing sleep, it has a sofa bed with a lake view.

The romantic medieval town of Stein am Rhein can be reached on foot via an idyllic path along the lake. During the winter months, underfloor heating provides cozy warmth and atmosphere.

Thanks to its location in a courtyard, tranquility is guaranteed and at the same time the lake and swimming facilities are only a 2-minute walk away. The house has a south oriented garden seating area with appealing sunlight and lawn area.

With our vacation home «beija-flor» we have fulfilled our dream of living on the water and André, architect by profession, was finally able to realize our own project. We bought the house in 2023 and then lovingly renovated and with a lot of our own. The name is inspired by our last big trip to Brazil, and it says, “hummingbird,” which kisses the flowers.
