One of the last 20 houses with a seaweed roof. The house was renovated in 2019 with new underfloor heating, electricity, water and drainage. The windows have been scraped off for paint and repainted with linseed oil paint. We have preserved as much of the old from the house and partially reused kitchen cabinets, benches and panels from Vesterø church, etc. The previous owner's things are also recycled, especially pictures. Kanonhuset

On Læsø, you will find this unique cannon house from 1777, a former tanghus (tidal house) that, with its rich history and characteristic architecture, was one of the island's most photographed buildings. The house has many old preserved details. Inside, you will find an authentic atmosphere, where originality is preserved with respect for the soul of the house. The original rafters are made of old ship masts. The annex is made with a covered outdoor kitchen at one end and a wilderness kitchen on the terrace and a shower with cold and hot water at the other end

Apartment 4 The new apartment

The apartment is the former upper teacher's residence from that time a school teacher was a highly respected person in the society . Therefore, nothing was saved when the house was built. The best materials were used and the architect created large high-ceilinged spaces with a lovely incidence of light. Since then, I'm still on the good track and the home now appears fully modern with 3 large double rooms , a huge kitchen living room with a lovely dining area. Direct access to the garden and private terrace , as well as 2 bathrooms.

Family-friendly cottage just 150 meters from one of Denmark's best sandy beaches. The house is in walking distance to Vesterø Harbour, where the ferry dock and you can shop. Renovated in 2016 with new kitchen and in 2021 upgraded with new roof, windows, doors and larger sunny wooden terraces with fine FDB garden furniture. There is a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher in the house. For the kids there is a trampoline, swing stand and sandbox. There are duvets and pillows, but remember to bring bedding and towels.
