Vacation rentals with a patio in La Veta

This little townhome is a gem in a charming little town of Crestone. The proprietors have thought of everything- down to having their own restaurant on premises! You can even order online! Just be patient as delicious food takes time to prepare. Nights are suuuper calm and peaceful. I came for a workshop 20 min away-- this was a great retreat!!

Stayed here for a quick night to get some rest on a roadtrip. Both the place and host were nice! Awesome room, simple check in, plenty of space, great location, chill and nice host. Had a little trouble with the coffee machine and toilet, but nothing major! Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this lovely studio for an extended stay and it was wonderful. Modern, clean, beautiful art, everything you could need. Mark & Tanya are excellent hosts. Hot tub was a great feature. Deer walked up to the door a couple times. It was peaceful and tucked away, yet close to the town of LaVeta. 5/5

It was cozy and right next to the cute little down town area. They had great recommendations for places to explore and places to eat.

We cannot recommend this mountain retreat enough!! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled right in the mountains, with a river running past the house. It was the most beautiful backdrop. The house itself was spacious, clean, cosy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Kids were excited to see deer tracks on the road outside the house! Amanda was very helpful & communicative through the whole process. Loved all the local recommendations. Staying here felt like a little slice of heaven - highly recommend.

WHAT A STAY!! The place was even more beautiful than the pictures gave it justice for. Very quiet and secluded, tucked up in a safe space. The view was nothing I’ve seen in a mountain stay before. Perfect for sitting on the deck any time of day to read, sip coffee or any drink of your choice, relax. Deck was spacious enough for yoga or to lay out in the sun. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook almost every meal at the cabin. Lots of plates, bowls, silverware, cups. I am very very impressed and would love to stay again! Daniela was so responsive proactively and retroactively in such a quick manner.

This is a gem of a location nestled in the mountains with beautiful views. Just outside the home is an area to sit and look at the stars. The place is cozy and was able to accommodate us at 7 very well with extra spots for sleeping. We didn’t end up camping but there’s room for a couple of tents right outside. The home itself is wonderful. We had all the gear needed along with supporting spices for making meals. Additionally, the hosts are available to support with anything you need at all. If we are to ever come back to the sand dunes to visit, we are definitely considering here first to stay. It was only 30 minutes from the national park and yet well secluded for your stay. You won’t regret staying here!

My stay at Donnie & Carly's cabin was incredible. From the start they were very responsive & helpful with any questions I had. They even made a special trip to drop off a hairdryer since it was missing! The views are breathtaking & it was so quiet & peaceful. There's a nice reservoir only 5 minutes away. It was a perfect, relaxing getaway.

If you admire people who love nature and build with their hands you will enjoy this house! Experience coyotes, jack rabbits, stars, mountains and clouds.

Our stay at The Bunkhouse was serene and breathtaking! The farmhouse decor coordinated perfectly with the beautiful background of mountains and farm animals in the pasture. The host was very accommodating and personable. Everything was perfect and I left feeling refreshed and rested. Thank you for a great weekend at the Bunkhouse!

2nd time me and my wife been here will come again next year hopefully. great spot! next year they will have a lift on the mountain I hear. Thanks again to the host! Just a great hidden spot!

Very beautiful surroundings! Peaceful and quiet condo with stocked kitchen. Felt at home and warm! Will definitely be staying again in the future

Michael was an excellent host; warm, friendly, gracious and accommodating! He went above and beyond what was needed to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The condo was small but very comfortable and just right for our party of 3; but did have extra sleeping space if needed. The space was warm and charming. We spent one day snowed in (we're from Florida) so it didn't take too much snow for us to just stay in and enjoy the beautiful views. But there were plenty of games and TV if desired. One of the nicest features and very unusual in these times, was the check in and out times. Check in at 2pm and out by 2pm. That is so rare these days and was very much appreciated. It felt like we received full value for our rental expense dollars. And it felt like our host wanted us to feel welcome, comfortable and not rushed, like a real guest!! Thank you, Michael! We loved our stay and that area of Colorado was so beautiful!

This is the second time my family and I have stayed, and we love it! The Aspen Leaf Retreat definitely makes you feel at home! It's super cozy, clean, and great place for a getaway! It will now be our "go to" spot when visiting. While we are very familiar with the Cuchara area, the condo is easy to find and access. Plus, there is plenty around to do. Like a visit to the lakes, a trip to Cordova Pass, a hike up to Vista Point, or spending a day in town. Can't wait to come back!

This condo was perfect for our short getaway. It was cozy, clean, and the location was excellent. Being at the base of the ski area, we had walking access to the local store and scenic walks. A definite keeper on our list for future stays in Cuchara/La Veta.
