Cabin vacation rentals in Kvalsund Municipality

The accommodation was the best part of our stay in Alta. When we thought of a place where we could make the most of our experience in the Arctic Circle, we never imagined that there could be something so magical. A snowmobile trail, northern lights, a cabin that couldn't be more cozy, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor igloo to grill and not get cold while watching the northern lights and all the snow around, an outdoor area in the woods with a zip line and a swing. It was an incredible experience, undoubtedly the best in Alta. I would pay a lot more to enjoy this place, because for everything it offers, the price is great. Unbeatable!!! Thank you!!!

Very friendly host. Fantastically beautiful cottage, very cozy. Very quiet and quiet environment. We slept wonderfully and the jaccuzi was a plus for relaxing to leave again.

The hosts were a couple of very nice retirees. The location incredibly beautiful. The cabin I was in down by the water was quiet and peaceful. Those located in the cabins next to the road might get a different experience. The accommodation was rustic. It is not a modern standard, but instead very cozy and homely. The kitchen was not fully equipped, but the hosts were very accommodating in fixing what I needed.

We stayed for three nights and had a terrific time at Randis place! The cabin’s interior is quite stylish and modern with enough open space but cozy at the same time. The whole place was spotlessly clean and all the kitchen and bathroom appliances are brand new. We had some good nights sleep on the pleasingly firm mattresses and enjoyed sitting on the terrace and watching the surrounding nature. To get to the cabin, you need to walk a short distance from the parking space, but there are pushing carts at hand so you don’t have to carry all your luggage. Advantage: no car noises (in fact, all the other cabins in the area weren’t even in use at the time of our stay). Should you be planning to go the north cape (as we did) make sure to pause here for some days and not only for one night! To sum it up: A perfect accommodation to relax and enjoy nature, we would’ve loved to stay even longer .

We had a wonderful stay in Gunnhilds little paradise. The house is very cosy and the surroundings spectacular. Gunnhild is a great host and always there for support when needed. We really hope to be back another time! :-)

We loved our stay very much! It is a very cosy and warm house, in a quiet surrounding. We were lucky that we saw almost every evening the Northern Light from the hottub. Everything what you needed is there in the house. Thanks Maria for everything!

Very lovely and simple cabin in an absolutely beautiful seaside view. It is a perfect place for people who value peace, quietness, nature and solitary over modern accommodations.

Andreas was very helpfull and friendly host. The instructions were great and he also gave us very usefull information concerning our fishing trip. The surroundings of the cottage was very beautiful and peacefull. Everything was as promised.

Absolutely stunning scenery and location! We loved both the sea view of the fjord and the fell behind the house, where we took short walks with the dogs. The cottage was very cozy and well-equipped.

Cabin with beautiful sea views. Well located for sightseeing. Ingar, the owner welcomes you kindly and kindly. The decoration is a little old, but warm and pleasant. Overall we had a nice stay.

Great place! The communication was quick and everything was explained really well. Would have loved to have stayed there longer but we were only passing through. The sauna and fireplace are really nice when coming in from the cold. Saw some northern lights as well!

We came here for a visit to the Nordkapp, and stayed in this cabin for a couple of days. We really enjoyed the cabin, it is very well and tastefully equipped. Everything is there, including running (warm) water, and still it feels like you're in the middle of nature. We did not see moose, but we found fresh droppings. There were still some patches of snow on the trail and around the cabin, and we had a fantastic view over the frozen lake. Going to the outhouse was a bit rustic but it is nearby plus the sun never goes down this time of the year anyway ;-) If we ever come back in this area we definitely would see if we can stay here again.

The modern-style cottage is really very nice, warm, and welcoming. The location is spectacular, within walking distance of the fjord and a pier. It is about an hour and a quarter from Alta but 10 km away there is a very well-stocked food market. We stayed with seven people in April for a week to go ski mountaineering and the location is strategic to reach the most beautiful peaks in a short time. The common areas, dining area, living room are comfortable and very well furnished. The bathroom is very nice although for a large number of people a second bathroom would be helpful. The bedrooms are simpler but cute even if they lack space to store and hang their clothes. Very scenic and convivial the place with the fire pit for the barbecue. Too bad the outdoor hot tub wasn't available during our stay. Annie's support was impeccable, accurate, and kind both before and during our stay.

Enjoyed the house and the special place in front of the water very much, Marianne is very helpful and attentive. And how wonderful to experience two days of storm a few days of rain and days of sun, especially the storm was nice.

Kjell-Otto is a fantastic host and his house is simply amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better accommodation! We loved the jacuzzi just in front of the frozen lake and having dinner in the extremely well equipped kitchen. The position is amazing to discover the best ski touring spots in Finnmark! We highly recommend!!

Very nice cabin, peaceful and quiet, beautiful view and just the amenities you need for short and slightly longer stays. Was there in July, probably as nice in winter.

Remme's place was really beautiful and well equipped with all basic amenities. The kids loved the fire place for grilling outside. The place had amazing views and was very serene and relaxing. I would highly recommend the place and will definitely like to visit again.

Wonderful place, especially if you like to stay away from city and watch aurora.
