Pay attention to check in time of 17:00, as specified in the listing. We weren’t paying attention and it would have been an issue for us, but hosts’s son was there to let us in earlier. Big Plodine market nearby (by car) or Konzum on foot. Beautiful, quiet residential area right at the beach. Few tourists around here in late September. Appreciated the parking. Antonija helped with turning on the hot water heater and bringing us a replacement router when several of our devices wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. They left cold drinks, fresh fruit from the garden (which is gorgeous), local olive oil, Nescafé, filter coffee, cappuccino mix, etc. for us. Space is small, just as pictured, but worked for us two. Patio area was so pretty and breeze was great. Thank you Draško and Antonija!

The apartment was small but there was everything we needed. The views from the shared terrace were wonderful!

Helena's place was a wonderful retreat for my husband and I. Short distance to groccery stores, sea promenade and local beach made our stay even more memorable, calm and pleasant. Helen's place had everything for convenient cooking, shower well equipped, lots of towels, utensils. Highly recommend it! Thank you Helena!

Once an hour, a five-minute ferry connects the mainland to a jewel of an island without cars. Una's two-story house is 1 minute from the ferry, two minutes from a grocery store. For travelers without a car, this is ideal. Instead of cars there are boats, everyone seems to have one. The bus waits for the ferry to arrive, then goes straight to a big Mall, followed by downtown Sibenik. We were there a month in April-May, gorgeous weather, cool at night. Two bedrooms on the second floor, plus a sun room where Don liked to type because it was sunny and warm. Bathroom and shower, living-dining-kitchen on the first floor, where I liked to type because it was cooler. In one month I wrote two major papers. The second floor has a superb, quiet heat exchanger that easily keeps the temperature at whatever you want because the walls are insulated. The first floor has an electric space heater that also works well because the walls are insulated. The kitchen has everything we needed except an electric hot water kettle, which we bought and left there. Hot water from the tap is instant. Garbage is picked up once a week. I connected my computer to the TV to watch basketball games on pirate channels using the good WIFI. We absolutely adored Una's house, such a beautiful island, great for jogging and biking. A five-minute walk along shore by the ferry dock on the mainland reveals a spectacular restaurant overlooking the sea. We shall return.
