A cozy seating area and hot tub with a covered terrace, which is included in the price of the accommodation. The cottage has a traditional Finnish vibe, which has also been added a touch of oriental breeze. From the gentle steam of the wooden sauna, it's nice to go to the terrace to cool off and enjoy shelter and a peaceful yard from the milieu. Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

Guests also have access to a backyard patio. Bus stop in Helsinki (turn 863) 300m, (K-supermarket Tarmola) along a walkway that runs 450 m through the woods. Porvoo city center 1.8 km.

Everything worked as advertised. The sun shone on the terrace in the morning and there was a suitable shade in the afternoon. It was nice to walk along the riverbank to the old town and in the evenings there was a lot of life.

We very much enjoyed the house, very charming house and nice outdoor space as well as parking. Some traffic noise which we had anticipated with the central location, but did not really disturb us. Kitchen and living rooms were very nice and well equipped, ample bathroom facilities. Only issue for us was the lack of curtains in the bedrooms which made us wake up when the sun raised and then sleep lighter than normal until morning. We appreciated quick responses to our questions and flexibility at checkin and checkout.

We had a nice couple of days at Suvi's cottage. Everything went great! There was a flexible check-in and on the day of departure we had the opportunity to stay a little longer. We enjoyed the peace and atmosphere of the countryside, for example, a lovely tree sauna and a beautifully decorated cottage, where the dream tasted. Summer cafe Pumppaamo within walking distance was also nice. Highly recommend!
