Monthly Rentals in Kopanes

A really enjoyable stay at Platankia. It was extremely well equipped and had everything you would need and more, only thing that would help would a microwave - the kids really enjoyed the toys that were in the beach basket and kept them entertained without the need for a TV etc. Be warned wifi is a bit slow but great if you want to disconnect from the Internet for a while. Some really great restaurants, would recommend Vespas for Pizzas and Vitsalo is great for seafood. Everyone in town is extremely friendly and kind and Myrtos is always contactable if you have any other queries. We enjoyed being able to pick oranges and lemons and made enough lemonade to sink a battleship! I really enjoyed the hmock and the slide and swing is great for children. It is extremely private as you have large greenhouses on both sides but at the same time it is super easy to walk into town. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back. The gorge is worth seeing and lots of other stuff

Everything has already been said, it's just amazing. Popi lives Greek hospitality. There were drinks and vegetables in the fridge. You could help yourself in their beautiful garden. The highlight was the great food. We had fresh fish and many different vegetarian things. Simply delicious. Unfortunately, it was only 4 days but they were great. We would come back anytime. We stayed 14 days in the old village of Sykologos and felt completely comfortable. We didn't miss anything, the decor is tasteful and high quality. Shortly after we arrived , Andreas greeted us kindly with fresh bread and pastries. He guided us through his house and showed us around and explained everything. There were delicious,local delicacies in the fridge. We've never had anything like this! We communicated with Andreas from time to time during our stay. He is very attentive and tries to make sure his guests don't miss anything. You have to be aware that you always need a car to get to the beautiful beaches and tavernas. But it's worth it! If you appreciate the peace ,the solitude and the still real Greece with its people and habits, this is the place to be! We will be back!

We spent 16 days with our little boys and his grandfather in Maria's beach house and are thrilled. The house is beautiful, the grounds around it are a dream for children and you often have the beach to yourself. But above all, it is Maria's parents who helped us have an unforgettable stay. Eva and Nikolas are incredibly warm and hospitable people who supported us in a real emergency and never hesitated to help. Thank you for that. And yes: the surrounding area with its greenhouses is not as you imagine Greece as a tourist. But you can experience real Greek life there and those who like it a little more touristy will enjoy the cute Mirtos and Ierapetra.
