This apartment with free parking is a perfect base when you go on a trip to Prekestolen, Kjerag or Stavanger. Top equipped kitchen, bathroom, super queen bed and selected retro design characterize the apartment. From January 2026 to June, there will be construction work in the area on weekdays from 7 am to 3 pm. If you think this will be a problem, I would ask that you find another place. The apartment is soundproofed and so far I have only good reviews from guests who love the tranquility of the place.

Perfect location to explore the fjords with Pulpit rock and Kjerag in Lysefjorden, and a lot of other hiking and walking opportunities. In Ålgård Centre is located the shopping center Norwegian Outlet and the amusement park Kongeparken. You can explore the town Stavanger or the North Sea with lovely beaches 25 minutes away. In the winter one can visit the ski resorts in the mountains 1 hour away with car.

Its 2-6 minutes walk to city center, harbour, railway and buses. Several grocery stores and restaurants 40-80 m away.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.
