Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kolding

We had an absolutely relaxing vacation in Pia's little house. It is located in the first row in a vacation home area on Bogeskov beach and therefore impresses with unobstructed sea views. Since only a few people were on site during this time (first half of June), we were able to take several absolutely relaxing beach walks. The house was furnished and equipped on a relatively small area with a lot of Danish coziness. We lived in the house as a couple. For 4 adults, however, the space would be too small for our liking. The biggest plus about Pia's house is the winter garden, from which you have a great view of the fjord - an experience at any time of day and in any weather. The winter garden leads on two sides to the wooden veranda, which is furnished and equipped with a grill and parasol. From there, you can reach the beach in just a few steps. We loved these little visits to the sea in the morning and evening. Relaxation factor: 100%!

We were also delighted with the second visit. The house, with the beautiful view of the sea, is simply fantastic. We took great trips on the Vejle Fjord with the existing kayaks, watched porpoises and explored the area on foot and by car. The house has everything you need. The kitchen equipment is great and the hot tub is also great at any time of the day. We love it there and will certainly come back. Ole as a host is also very, very courteous and super friendly in communication.

Jørgen’s home is very nice. Newly renovated and immaculate. The kitchen had what you needed for cooking in. The washer and dryer was a plus. Jørgen responded quickly to sent messages with questions and was happy to do what was needed to make our stay great. He had window screens put in just before our arrival. Perfect timing as there were a lot of flies outside the first couple of days of our stay. We found Jørgen’s home to be very comfortable and recommend it to others!

It is rare to meet very likeable people. Nicolas is one of them. A friendly, helpful, open-minded and likeable host. Now to the property: The accommodation has a great view and is in a quiet location. The only thing you hear is maybe a train. In addition, the surroundings invite you to take great walks. The accommodation itself is clean and has all basic amenities. We especially liked the oven, which we always turned on after our long walks. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Totally nice apartment, 100% matched the description. Everything ready with upholstered beds and very tastefully decorated, really great. We felt comfortable right away and were able to start a day in Legoland, which is very easy to reach. Very quiet and nice residential area and super nice landlord. We will be happy to come back for the next Legoland visit!

Connie and her tiny guest apartment were wonderful! Connie was very kind and helpful. All instructions were very clear. The place was clean. Legoland is an hour away by two busses but we were satisfied with our choice to stay in Vejle. 25 min walk from the train station.

We only stayed there because of a wedding nearby, but perfect location to stay. Clean, neat, you feel very welcome. Very clear messages in advance.

Helle and Peter's cottage is a small oasis in a busy world. Where we had a wonderful time with our family with two young children. The front garden overlooks the water, the nearby islands. And a stone's throw away is an idyllic harbor with fishing boats, a wooden boat that is being worked on on the slope. Everything in the area exudes tranquility, space and nature. And all that with a maritime atmosphere, something we really like. The space itself is super pleasant; small and nice. Very nicely decorated and everything is clean and pleasant. Finally, the hosts are pleasant, welcoming and casual. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

The apartment is simply beautifully located on both sides of the water, with magnificent views. There really is everything you need for a successful vacation, the kitchen is well equipped and everything is very clean. The apartment is ideally laid out, even when traveling with children. There are two separate spacious bedrooms with large double beds and parents can still sit in peace in the beautiful living room or on the balcony in the evening. We made excursions to Legoland (less than 1 hour away) and to the surrounding towns, both very nice. Looking for shells and amber on the beach right outside the front door was great for the kids. Jesper was super friendly and always available when we had questions, check-in and check-out went quickly and smoothly. Thanks for the wonderful Easter getaway!

It was the second time we were there. And it was just as good as the first time. Far out in the countryside, with beautiful nature and quiet surroundings. With helpful hosts🙂

Really cozy apartment, which had everything we needed. Super nice that linen and cleaning was included, it made the stay so easy and comfortable. We'd love to come again.

We had a wonderful stay at Thomas and Connie's and felt welcome and at home right away. Our baby was also warmly welcomed. :) Thomas always responded very quickly and helpfully to all messages and even got a hair dryer after we asked for it. We were able to use the large outdoor area and had a private barbecue area there. The location of the accommodation is very quiet and you need a car for all routes. But it is also so centrally located that you can easily make excursions from there, e.g. to Odense, Copenhagen or Kerteminde. We will be happy to come back. :)

Two very warm, dear people. I felt very comfortable, like at home. Quiet area, beautiful nature. Not far from Bogense. I can ALWAYS recommend it!!!!

If you are looking for a quiet corner and want to escape everyday life, you can come here and enjoy it. The water in the pool was wonderfully warm and in April. There were also a few toys. My children had a lot of fun and feel comfortable here. The animals on the farm were also hospitable 😊 Shopping is 5 minutes from the house. The hosts had a lot of patience with the kids and answered all the questions 😊 A sweet welcome basket was at the table. We always love a little attention to the guest. Thank you for this! Great host and really good apartment.

Stayed 3 nights in mid-May. Location is great, with an easy walk to town centre, and a big supermarket. The apartment itself is really excellent. Inside is very roomy with lots of light and is super clean. The outdoor space is unique - a huge terrace straight out of the kitchen and lounge, which gets sun all day, and is incredibly quiet and private. Solveig is a super host, with loads of information and generous offer to share her family's space. A really great stay.

We had a very lovely stay at Stig’s place. The house is as described and everything was nice and clean. The location was quiet and a close driving distance to Billund and other nearby cities. The host was also very responsive! Would visit again :)
