The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everythink you might need for your stay. The apartment is located on a farm 7 km from Borgarnes and 80 km from Reykjavik. The farm is 1 km from road nr 1. The view from the apartment and the surrounding area is very beutyfull. We have horses, chickens and dogs on the farm. The horses are very friendly and love attention. This is a very good spot to view the northern lights from late august-april if the sky is clear we can usually see them.

Johanna was a delightful host. The house was perfect- spacious and tidy. The beds were so comfortable and every room had blackout shades. The lambs and horses were a marvelous addition. It was also nice to meet Johanna’s sweet pups! I would recommend the place without reservation. It was also very convenient for going to Húsafell the next day as well as nearby waterfalls. Thanks Johanna!

I cannot say enough about how incredible our stay was here, and how above and beyond the hosts went. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a beautiful, private getaway. Seeing how pretty the place looked in the pictures, I booked this spot to bring my fiancé to after proposing to her on the south coast. The hosts were kind enough to pick up decorations that I ordered from a nearby post office, and decorate the place beautifully well in time before I brought her there. They were extremely communicative in the weeks leading up to my stay, and put so much time, care, and attention to detail into the decorations while asking for nothing in return. In addition, the place was absolutely spotless and clean throughout. If you're looking for a serene stay with stunning views, cleaned to the highest standard, with extremely friendly and responsive hosts, this is your place.

This bungalow was a lovely spot for a small family getaway under the Northern Lights. In fact, my dad liked the building so much that he was taking design notes for his own retirement dream home! We really enjoyed hanging out in the solarium to feel immersed in the view of the countryside, and the bungalow was convenient to sights like the Grábrók crater, Glanni waterfall, and Settlement Center museum, as well as allowing a day trip around the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The place was clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen and some nice artistic touches. Stefan was a thoughtful and very responsive host, and we would gladly return to this special spot.
