Stephen was a fantastic host and an absolutely stunning house. The best we have ever stayed in. Was really well equipped and beautifully appointed. A great location to explore west Cork. Thanks a mil
A serene coastal view captures gentle waves lapping at the shore. Lush green hills rise in the background, with clusters of houses visible along the coastline. The clear blue sky above complements the tranquil waters, creating a peaceful seaside landscape.

Kinsale Self Catering Cosy Rural Accommodation

MicheleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It's out of town, so we self catered for an evening meal & breakfast, so we didn't have to drive back to town. Could easily do this with the kitchen. Also had a washing machine, but too wet to get any done and dried on the line unfortunately. Nice addition though. Would be good place to base from for a few days if your driving.
A modern kitchen is highlighted by light-colored cabinetry and a spacious countertop. A wooden table with four elevated stools is positioned at the center, while natural light enters through two windows adorned with potted plants. Appliances are neatly integrated into the cabinetry.

The Lavender House

We were met by Dan at the house which was easy find using the air-code. He was very friendly and helpful providing some info on local restaurants and supermarkets. The house was Dans home and was vacated by Dan and his wife to allow us the use for the weekend. We had the use of the lounge, dinning room and full kitchen also the downstairs loo and upstairs bathroom and the front bedroom. we also had the use of the rear garden and patio furniture if we wish to avail of it. The location was fine for us as it was only about a 10 min walk to the town centre and the local pub as about 5 min away. The only issue I found was early morning traffic noise as the main road from Bandon to Clonakilty is quite close by. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Rustic West Cork Barn

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Spent five nights in Teresa’s lovely well equipped barn set in beautiful countryside. She has clearly put a lot of thought into collecting furniture and other items to create a relaxing place to come home to. The kitchen has everything you need - we ate in several times and appreciated the local bread, milk, butter, and marmalade which she provided. Although the weather wasn’t kind to us, we enjoyed the area and meeting the friendly locals. Everyone should eat at ‘The Church Restaurant’ in Skibbereen - great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. (pre book). It was good to meet Teresa and learn a little about the creation of the barn. Thanks Teresa, for a comfortable relaxing stay.
A view from above showcases the dining area with a wooden table set for six, featuring ceramic dishware and glassware. The room's bright walls are enhanced by two colorful framed artworks. Natural light enters through two windows, illuminating the space beneath exposed beams.

James and Nicole have a beautiful place! Extremely clean and well stocked. All of our needs were met. James was a great help with local recommendations on the town. Can't get into words how cozy the loft was. Location was absolutely fantastic for walking to places in town too! We'll be visiting again for sure!
A cascading waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and moss-covered rocks, creating a serene woodland scene. The water flows over multiple tiers, with a dark pool at the base reflecting the vibrant landscape. Sunlight filters through the trees, illuminating the natural beauty.

Cottage at Curraghmore Farm, nestled in the Reeks.

What an adventure ! We absolutely loved staying here. It was our first time in Ireland and first time driving on the left side of the road, so it was quite a journey driving into the place but we had no issues locating the house with Google Maps. Definitely would recommend this to very experienced drivers / people used to driving through mountainous landscapes. It is about an hour to get out of the valley in any direction, but we still got to explore lots of western Ireland (our favorite was Dingle!) while also enjoying the luxury of walking through the private trails and countryside of this Airbnb. We absolutely loved it! The house was clean and very comfortable, and Sandra was so helpful to answer all of our questions. She also greeted us with some fresh baked goods and surprised us with some farm fresh eggs during our stay. Would highly recommend this location, and we hope to return! 😊

Anne's house is charming . It has such a happy feeling . It's extremely spacious with lots of room to retreat and read whilst others cook or watch tv . The little yard at the back is a sun trap . The deck over looking the estuary is. bliss .
