We had a great time staying at Darcy's place! It's a nice older house in a very cozy neighborhood with quiet neighbors and peaceful surroundings. It was perfect as a pet friendly option while in town with my dog for my brothers wedding. The complimentary coffee saved me multiple mornings! I really appreciated that touch. Darcy is an excellent communicator and was a great host. Props to Darcy's husband for his drywall patch job too, it really was a 'very decent' job Darcy! Wouldn't have even noticed he'd had to do work if you hadn't given a heads-up! Would definitely stay again when visiting Ames in the future.

Dee was a fantastic host. Last minute booking and it was as if I had booked weeks in advance. Very accommodating, communicative and everything was as advertised. Parking down the street during the evening hours as enforced by a city ordinance was very easy as the streets and lots are very well lit.

My daughter and I visited the Pella Tulip festival and wanted to extend our trip so we came here to see/hike the high trestle bridge & visit the arboretum. Renee’s place was great for our visit! Easy to find & get in, the place was super cozy and comfortable! Private outdoor space with the balcony was nice. The bathroom was clean and functional. The kitchen has everything we needed - a stove/oven with plenty of cookware, fridge & microwave, coffee maker, plenty of dishes. Beds were comfortable with good blankets and pillows. The only negative I found was that the keys were a little difficult to lock/unlock door. I would recommend and return!
