Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

This lovely cottage is located a few meters from Lake Vänern and has a sandy beach, wood-fired sauna and a jetty with a wood-fired hot tub for 5 people. Perfect even for winter swimming! The view out over the lake is amazing! The cottage is 42 km v with 2 sleeping lofts, living room with sofa bed, TV, dining area, kitchenette, fridge/freezer, oven with stovetop, dishwasher, toilet, shower and washing machine. Large glass doors can be opened out to the terrace which has a gas grill, outdoor furniture and sun chairs. This is a quiet, nature-laden accommodation 15 km outside Lidköping.

Close to residential building. For rent by the night or by the week. The nearest grocery store is located in Skattkärr, Karlstad or Kristinehamn. There are, however, basic products available at the service station, OKQ8, in Väse. They are open until 23.00 on weekdays and until 22.00 during the weekend. They also have a restaurant. Inside Väse you will find Räven Bistro, pizzeria and restaurant.

Bed linen and towels should be brought yourself. Cleaning should be done before checking out and should be thoroughly done eg vacuum, dry the floors, dust-dry bathrooms and kitchens. You leave the house as it was when you arrived. Rowing boat is included in the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

Own small cottage of 52m2 + 25m2 loft and large terrace with outdoor hot tub for 6 people. Very modern and nice accommodation for himself with the host in his own house on the plot. Private parking space with space for 3 cars. Directly adjacent to the friend and 12km by car to the main square Karlstad. Small oak with electric motor is available if desired. If you have your own boat, you can leave it at the jetty. In summertime there may be a control pool boat for rent, separate agreement is required for that.

Välkommen till vår fräscha stuga med en underbar utsikt mot soluppgången över sjön i öster. Sjön ligger endast 60 meter från stugan och är jättebra för såväl bad som fiske. Det finns en strand med brygga ca 200m från stugan där du enkelt kan hoppa i för ett bad eller en simtur. Det finns även klippor att bada ifrån eller sola på i anslutning till badplatsen. Området är lugnt och stilla och den stora vägen ligger så långt från stugan att du slipper ljudet från bilarna. Hoppas vi ses!
