The apartment is above our barn, one flight of stairs. We have frontage on Big Creek which connects to gorgeous Lake Superior. We have kayaked and fished from our spot to the big lake. The cottage was great. Just as decribed...better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the sun porch. Peaceful and quite, we went for a fall color trip the colors were beautiful. This was just what we were looking for. We would definitely book agaim.

Scenery was great! Mosquitoes were in season and tampered a bit of the outside enjoyment but the large windows on the back of house made it possible to still enjoy the view while safely inside. Great place to disengage from the every day hustle of the city life.

It's a great house for perfect vacation! We really enjoyed kayaking in private lake and firepit is great enough for large group. We definitely recommend this for friends abd families.
