Over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Suitable for use all around the year (electrical floor heating and A/C). The hosts are availible most of the time, and speak English, Swedish and Finnish.

Emmi is really kind, helpful and easy/quick to reach. The place is clean and quiet and in the heat the apartment was wonderfully cool for sleeping. Private entrance so no unnecessary sounds are heard from anywhere. Great place, I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Vaasa.

Staying at Janine’s and Ville’s farm was a fantastic experience for my family of 3. We went on a weekend bicycle trip from Vaasa to Laihia and stayed at their place for one night. Our experience was top notch in every aspect; their farm sits in a peaceful location surrounded by farm fields and friendly neighbors.
