Family-friendly vacation rentals in Jönköping

We spent five beautiful days in Frufällan. We were heartily welcomed and shown around by host Robbin (and the enthusiastic house cats!) upon our arrival. The house, situated in a quiet neighborhood just a few kilometers north from the city of Boras, proved to be an excellent base to discover the region and the many possibilities it offers: wonderful nature, excellent hiking, challenging running, distressing kayaking on the Viskan river, refreshing swimming, etc. And after a warm and active summer day, the terrace at Robbin's place with its stunning lake view was just perfect to see the sun set and make plans for the next day.

We spent 10 days with Fredrik in Mullsjö and we enjoyed it very much. Exactly what we were looking for. The cottage had everything it needed and a beautiful location with a great playground for the kids. Great sauna with a large whirlpool bath that we used a lot. The house was just the right size for our family of 5. The surrounding area invites you to stroll around the lake and is very quiet. We also had a boat available where we could go on the lake. Only the entry into the lake was a bit unpleasant because it has a lot of reeds and it was not so easy to get into the water. We highly recommend Fredrik's place. The contact with Fredrik was always very friendly.

Emmas place is perfect if you want to have a cozy time in nature. She is an amazing host and our highlight was the little, private wooden sauna on the lake side. I‘d always go back there. :)

Nice, fresh cottage with nice kitchen and bathroom. Very close to lake with swimming dock. Quiet and cozy!

We enjoyed our stay incredibly! The accommodation was perfect for the whole group, with something for all ages, from children to adults. The house was well-equipped and comfortable, and the location was fantastic with a beautiful water view directly from the house. A quiet and scenic place that we are happy to return to!

Ronnie was a fantastic host! Communication was fast and great, and check in was super easy. His house is lovely--warm, cozy, and the kitchen and living room are modern and big! There was enough space for all of us. Though it was a bit far from the city, Jonkoping is easy to drive through so we rented a car and it was perfect!

We had a great time at Eva's and Ulf's. The house is very spatious and perfectly equiped to host 8 people. We really enjoyed the calm of the garden and the nearby lake and can only recommend this place!

Maria's house is a dream come true! The stay was very special to us, and we felt extremely comfortable from the first moment. We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We spent 3 nights in Lone's apartment. It was fresh, clean and cozy. It was also close to hiking and nature experiences. We enjoyed the apartment and everything worked as it should! Easy to check in and check out! We'll be more than happy to come back!

Hospitable and pleasant hosts. Good communication. Cozy house in quiet surroundings along the Gøta Canal bike route. Took the opportunity to look at the properties' jetty. Incredibly great place. Recommended.

We had a lovely week at the lake house in February. The view of the lake at breakfast was great. The house had everything one needs. Honestly the sauna is lovely in the winter where you can familiarize yourself after a long hike on one of the many beautiful routes in the surrounding area. Warmest recommendations

If you want to be in a quiet place for a few days, with nature around you, this is a great place

We stayed in Malin's house with family. The location allows you to visit the area around Linkoping, immersed in the forest and at the same time not far from the city. We particularly appreciated the external frame which is arranged to enjoy the evenings outside, around the pool. The kitchen is very well equipped and the interior is also very nice and well decorated. The rooms are well moved in. We highly recommend this house, for a pleasant stay with family or friends.

House was tidy, clean and had a super nice pool. Douglas was accomodating and easy to communicate with. Would visit again!

Great place! Amazing views, quiet surroundings, delicious and cozy to be able to light up both the wilderness bath and the sauna. And cozy with a little tour on the lake at sunset. A fantastic little gem, I highly recommend!

We had a quiet holiday as a family in Rykull. Numerous activities can be carried out in all weather conditions. We really enjoyed the canoe tours and the campfire with numerous accessories. A highlight was the hot tub. The many rooms and huts were a perfect retreat for the children. Thank you for the wonderful time in tranquil Småland!

The house was very nice in a quiet residential area. Close to the lake. Fully furnished. There was nothing missing. Very well-maintained outdoor area. Everything very clean. 100% recommendation.
