Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Jindabyne

My family stayed at Sarah’s place over the Easter long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Specially during the sunrise time the lake and valley looked picturesque. To quote my 4 year old nephew, “this place is amazing”. Sarah was always responded to messages with great care and provided clear instructions to check in. She is indeed a super host.

The place was extremely clean, spacious, and well-organized. The interior decor appeared brand new and was very comfortable. The host kindly helped us join the beds together, which we greatly appreciated. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with all essentials, including a hairdryer, curling iron, and moisturizer. We especially enjoyed the beautiful beach view and had such a relaxing time there. Highly recommended!

We came to the area for my son's wedding. Tristan's cottage was in the perfect spot. We loved the cosiness of the place, the quiet, and the surrounding landscape. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We would’ve liked to have some shampoo etc in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this property with our family of five, along with my brother’s family, who also had five members. The house was immaculate and well-maintained, though the beds could have been a bit more comfortable for a better night’s sleep. The children's play area was a highlight, offering plenty of fun and entertainment for the kids. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Jack and Sam were wonderful hosts, very accommodating of my young family. They offered flexibility, provided recommendations and clear instructions. Will definitely star this if ever in Jindabyne again!

Lucas has a wonderful house for a family, plenty of space and the kids felt right at home. A very easy place to stay, especially if you’ve been out all day (walking on the mountain) or just having a quiet one at home.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The resort facilities were a huge hit with the kids, they couldn't get enough of the kayaking and the play areas. The apartment itself was perfect; it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kids particularly loved the loft sleeping area, it added a special touch of excitement to their stay. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and hassle-free getaway!

The place is exactly as listed and described. It is the perfect place for a single traveler who is skiing during the day and having low-key evenings. The walk to restaurants and groceries is literally 1 min away across the street. The bed was super comfortable and the studio has everything you need to relax and unwind at the end of a great day of skiing. I will definitely return next season and stay at Kristine’s flat. This Airbnb was one of the best decisions we made for our trip! We came to do the Mt. Kosciuszko hike and the location couldn’t have been more convenient—right in the heart of Jindabyne, close to everything we needed. The place had such wholesome, cozy cabin vibes that made it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of hiking. Super clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. And honestly, the Wii was such a fun bonus—we had a blast playing in the evenings. Would 100% book again.

It was a pleasure to stay at this studio. The apartment was absolutely pristine and in a good location, and Dawn had stocked it with lots of goodies to make it a very enjoyable stay. Dawn herself was very friendly and easy going. I've already recommended this place to my family and would do the same for any friends planning to visit the snowies.

Great place to stay near Lake Jindabyne, a very clean and quiet accomodation. All the amenities listed were available, and overall a comfy stay for 1-2 people. Would highly recommend for those looking for an alternative place to stay nearby Thredbo!

We had such a lovely stay as a young family of five! The location was ideal—just a short drive to the snowfields, which made it super easy for some fun snow play with the kids. It was also really handy being close to restaurants and cafés—perfect for a warm drink or a relaxed family meal after a day out. Having Woolworths nearby was a real bonus too, especially for those last-minute nappy runs… and to pick up a night light we forgot to pack! The place itself was cosy, clean, and really well set up for families. There was plenty of space for everyone to unwind, and the heating kept us warm and comfortable. The kids felt right at home, and so did we. Such a great find—comfortable, convenient, and truly family-friendly. We’d definitely stay again!

Peter was a great host from the start, offering his assistance to us and when we had questions, he had answers. We experienced some poor weather and needed the advertised drying room. It had been switched off over summer so we asked Peter for help and he promptly arrived and turned it on for us. Peter also offered alternate activities for us to do, and suggested the best day of the week for our summit walk. A great feature of Wendeleigh 8 is the fact there is a bathroom for each bedroom. They are small and had shower curtains which are not our favourite, however we were told these are being updated from February. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, knives and all the essentials as well as cling wrap, ziplock bags, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags etc. In the laundry as well as a washer and dryer, there was laundry powder and a first aid kit. Overall, I think this is the best stocked unit we have stayed at. So close to the shops too! Thanks Peter!
