Vacation rentals with breakfast in Jiménez

My host, David was exceptionally nice, and thoughtful. I felt a kinship with him and he was very knowledgeable about the farm and plantlife. This was one of my favorite air Bnb stays!

Anita, Juan’s mother, was the best host ever. She was very friendly, greeted us with a kind smile, and it was great to talk to her. She prepared a delicious breakfast for us and we talked for hours at the dining table as if we were family members. We felt right at home. Also, we had a great view from the second floor balcony. It was so peaceful! If we are ever back in Cartago, we know where to stay.

I had such a wonderful few weeks at Bogana Haus! It’s the first time I’ve shared an Airbnb yet it’s the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The home is absolutely beautiful and truly feels like an oasis in the city. So much thought and detail clearly went into creating the space. The neighborhood is fairly quiet (although I would recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper) and I enjoyed going for morning walks. It’s also a pretty easy walk to the city center. I can’t leave a review with mentioning the amazing Paula. Not only does she keep the house immaculate, but she’s also so friendly, funny, and helpful. I was sick for a couple of days and she made me fresh lemon and ginger tea twice a day! I think my one regret is not taking advantage of her breakfasts more regularly during my stay. I highly recommend Bogana and look forward to staying again:)

This was a great place to stay, we would definitely do it again! The communication process before arrival was good. The caretakers were very friendly and very helpful. The house was huge, luxurious, and had amazing views. All and all our family had a great couple of days at the house. Having said all of that, there were a few cons: -The road to get to the place was horrible, it was muddy with a lot of potholes. -There are chickens in the back yard. Some people might like that, but the rooster would crow in the middle of the night and wake us up. -The house was "surface" cleaned, but it could definitely use a deep clean. The fridge was dirty, there was a lot of dust and dirt under furniture, etc.

Victoria is a wonderful host. We were visiting Costa Rica for dental services. This is the 2nd time we have stayed with this host, she provides a perfect Tico breakfast of fresh fruit and eggs for the first couple of days. Rooms are quiet and clean located in Escazu which is an upscale safe neighborhood. We could walk to the grocery stores and the dental office. You can use the kitchen if you wish or walk to one of the many local restaurants in the area. Bus or uber are both convenient transportation methods and easy to use. Great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

The apartment is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. I leave very happy with Vanessa's care and hospitality, I would come back again without hesitation. The area is in the center of San José so it is quite accessible if in your plans is to know the center, museums, markets and parks. There is a washer and dryer which is quite functional. Excellent accommodation!

great location close to downtown rooms were great, nice breakfast every morning. Make sure you have a plan if you get to San Jose early most likely you won't be able to check in until 3. My room wasn't ready until 3:30 pm but they will hold your bags and you can explore the city, lounge by the pool or have something to eat or have a drink at their restaurant. And check out isn't until 1pm so that was great can't wait to come back. thanks sergio

Federico was so helpful while arriving to San Jose. He made the check-in process effortless, guided me around the building and showed all of the nice amenities. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re using the coworking spacing Gracias. It’s very convenient and an excellent location. Beautiful coffee shops and great restaurants within walking distance. I’ll be staying here again in the near future for sure! Thanks Federico!

Great proximity to Parque Sabana and Central Market. Easy access to and from SJO airport. Ana is great at looking out for your basic needs.

Great little inn in a cool neighborhood. We didn’t get to stay long because of an early flight, but regretted not spending a few days there just because the inn was so nice. Cool vibe, beautiful spaces and nice neighborhood to walk and go get dinner.

The host was very helpful and let me check in early. She spoke english well enough that communication was easy and she was very responsive to questions that I had. If you are going to the Basilica which is the main attraction in town the location could not be better. The Basilica is directly across the street and the breakfast area has a good view of it. I could not believe that they served breakfast as a part of this very low priced, very clean and comfortable room. I will book it when I come back! It is also only about a $60 dollar taxi ride to the airport on an uber so its ideal place to spend both the first night or two in country and when exiting.

We had a wonderful stay at Nano's! He welcomed us warmly and the room is very nice with its own balcony & bathroom upstairs. We were able to use the kitchen and living room. The view of the mountains and the valley is a highlight, it is also very quiet and we were able to switch off and relax well. In the evening, Nano prepared a delicious dinner with vegetables and herbs from his garden with a lot of love, also vegetarian on request:) We had great conversations and he gave us many tips for activities in the area. We keep Nano as a good friend and our stay at Casa Paz as a very special memory of our trip through Costa Rica!

Wonderful stay, we will be back!

The place is in a quiet area, you can feel safe and only 10 minutes to the larger shopping center. Continental breakfasts delicious, friendly, smiling, and supportive guests. Rooms are clean, well-maintained. If we go back to San Jose, it's also to Casa Lima. :)
