Saunacottage on lake Parannesjärvi in Virrat, 300km north of Helsinki. 30m2 log-house, built in 2005 with 100m of own shoreline. Owners live on same 1,4ha property, 70m away. In the livingroom/kitchen of the cottage you find a double sofa-bed with extra matress for 2 persons. Separate toilet and wood-heated sauna with shower. 10m2 terrace with furniture and lake view. Fully equipped kitchen, gas-barbecue, rowing-boat, Wi-Fi. Very nice, quiet and cosy place for a couple to spend a holiday.

Or just hang out on the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite sudden, so it's not suitable for young children. A lot heats up next to the sauna terrace. Super nice accommodation, spacious and well equipped with everything you can wish for. The host was easy to communicate with via message. A big plus that felt extra luxurious when we arrived in the middle of the night, was that the beds were made and ready for a good night's sleep. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and peaceful. Lovely steam baths in the sauna trailer, it was nice to go swimming in the lake and the hut was cute. 😊 The apartment was clean and we got clear instructions from Valtteri. He is very friendly and responded well to messages. During the visit, the only downside was that the phone network did not work very well in the area. Experience 5/5 ⭐️
