ホストの方はとても親切で、快適に過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました！目の前には美しい海が広がり、素晴らしいロケーションでリラックスすることができました。3階建てでしたが、建物内にエレベーターがあって足の悪い家族にも安心でした。アメニティはじめコーヒーやお菓子なども用意していただき、ありがたかったです。 気になった点は、薄い敷布団とすぐ裏の道路から聞こえる車の音です（これはどうしようもないですが…）。 あと、備品欄には記載がありませんでしたが、ドライヤーは用意していただいていました！

The house was spacious and clean. Great outdoor space and walkable to beautiful white sand beach. Pool table was a big plus.

We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt right at home. This Airbnb is a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Japanese charm. The private onsen was incredibly cozy and spacious, and the Hinoki wood accents throughout the house added a touch of elegance. We loved running each day at the beach, along the coast to another town, or up the river into the mountains, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Better get here first before we tell our friends about it for the same weekend!

we had a fantastic stay and abhi and his wife were wonderful hosts. my family enjoyed the spacious home which is in the middle of the nature but close to the beach and close to nice cafes. we already want to go back ! thank you so much for the memories.

We loved our stay at Sayoko's house and especially being able to walk across the road for a swim before breakfast every morning. Its in a safe, easygoing small town and the beach itself is a well protected cove so perfect for swimming.

the apartment is old but well maintained. It has a stunning ocean views and soothing sound of waves, quiet and peaceful area with onsen nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Izu! The home was very comfortable and within easy walking distance to the beach, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The nearby small restaurants were charming, and the locals were incredibly welcoming and kind. One tip for future guests: the closest grocery store is a few minutes away by car, so it’s a good idea to stock up on essentials before checking in. One of the highlights for us was the separate bathhouse, ideal for winding down after a beach day and perfect for families with small children. This was a fantastic destination for quality family time, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

全てが綺麗でオシャレな感じでした。 今回はテラスにあるBBQ用品は使いませんでしたが、設置されてるグリルや机椅子など、中々便利な良い物がありました。 特にキッチン周りも良く、道具や食器など豊富に揃っており何でも出来る感じでした。 どこの宿でもそうですが、米びつは無いので注意です。 セルフチェックインの時、玄関脇のキー画面でパスワードを打って全然開かないと諦めかけて後ろを見たら、後ろの壁にキーボックスがありホッとしました。 オーナーの方の対応も良く、今回の旅行を楽しめました。 有難う御座いました。

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement. De très belles chambres avec vue sur la mer ! Juste dommage que la douche était à l’étage. Sinon tout était parfait.

A lovely spot in a quiet beach town, amazing views, stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also great, a tub and shower with a great view. Overall a great stay.

We stayed here for a couple nights towards the end of our trip to Japan. We arrived quite late from our previous stop, and the hosts were very accomodating of this fact. While we enjoyed our stay here, it's important to note that the accomodation is right next to a major highway. This didn't bother me, but my partner had some difficulty falling asleep with the noise - thankfully the host provided earplugs which helped! The area is very walkable and we stopped by some great restaurants & cafes.

家族で小田原城と箱根観光の為に滞在させて頂きました。宿泊施設は分かりやすい場所にありました。駐車場の場所は隣接していないのですが近くにあり、分かりやすいように写真での説明を頂き大変助かりました。滞在しやすいように布団等の準備もしてくださり、疲れておりましたので、とても暖かく迎え入れてくださっているように感じました。とても過ごしやすく、家族で滞在した良い思い出の一つとなりました。お世話になりありがとうございました。

So amazing to wake up to that view and walk out onto the beach. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very helpful and friendly. There are body boards you can use for free. Only note for other guests is you cannot stand upright upstairs so that can be challenging with a young baby, but that is not the fault of the property!

Cotora is the perfect beach house complete with a full kitchen and outdoor shower. It is a short 2 min walk to Irita Beach which was our favorite in the area. The Tokai Bus picks up just a 3 min walk away, too. In June, there were two restaurants open near us on the beach, Copa, a beachside Cafe, and FermenCo, a killer sourdough wood-fired pizza joint. Toraya was very helpful well in advance of our arrival and provided directions for the bus and nearby grocery stores. Shimoda is just a 5 min or so bus rode away and has a great seaside town vibe. We cannot wait to return. The only problem I foresee is having to compete with the readers of this review for availability!

This air bnb was comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. We loved staying here and will stay again! The host was responsive and helpful and the home had everything you could want. Would recommend host get a house manual to leave for guests with a WiFi password (there is a nice easy QR code for WiFi) but sometimes connecting devices like kindles without cameras need a password. Manuals for the appliances in the house would be helpful as well. This air bnb was just so clean and welcoming and comfortable! We loved how it was remodeled to add modern but try to keep traditional Japanese touches. Just a lovely stay, we will be back! :) thank you!!

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!
