Vacation rentals with an accessible height bed in Italy

From the moment we arrived Leonardo and Gabriela were just above and beyond what any other air bnb we have stayed in. They had wine, water, a huge chocolate egg and the typical Italian bread for Pasqua for us to enjoy. Fruit, walnuts, eggs….just above and beyond! The local restaurants are absolutely amazing! Some is the best food in Florence. Podere, Gualtieri for breakfast and espresso, the pizza place, S’Brino is the best gelato in the city! A quiet place that is close to everything and with views of the city that are un matched. Look no further, book this amazing paradise in Florence now!

Arrigo’s home was in a good location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle (which we did) It was in a quiet, peaceful and clean location. Arrigo is a great host, when we arrived early he met us at the water bus stop helped us with my suitcase and walked us to his home sharing with us his love for Venice. He kept our suitcases while we walked around and explored until check in time. Once check in time came we walked back, he met us outside and walked us in. He showed us around the apartment and how to work everything. He then pulled out a huge map and marked down anything and everything from restaurants, grocery stores to must see places as well as bus lines to and from different islands. He also made a little handbook for reference of everything he went over with us it was amazing, he’s so organized and we actually referred to his handbook a few times for restaurants. He also left us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco from Vino Vero a must try very close to Airbnb.

Fabio was the highlight of our Airbnb stay. He met us at the bus station and drove us to our accommodation after showing us the town amenities we would need. He made sure we could get in and walked us through the apartment that is beautifully restored. He gave us very good advice for our visit to make it as smooth as possible. I would recommend this lovely place to all who are visiting La Spezia and the Cinque Terre.

Such a lovely home! Very charming, tidy and clean. The location was perfect if you want to stay a little further from the busy city center but close enough to walk. All the decorations and furniture were clean and charming. The kitchen had everything the two of us needed. We made breakfast and dinner in the rental. My 18 year old daught slept on the pull out and said it was comfortable. My favourite part was the view out the window from the table. I will definitely return!!

We stayed here for a few nights and had a fantastic time! The views were amazing, and the place was very spacious and clean. Lapo was fantastic - really helpful, even picking us up and dropping us back off at the bus stop. We'd highly recommend!

A lovely apartment in a quieter area of the city. The street outside has the canal and plenty of local bars and restaurants. The terrace was perfect for our morning coffee or afternoon relax, pretty quiet overlooking rooftops. Walking distance to all the tourist spots, or easy to get to by water taxi. The apartment has lovely traditional decor and is clean and spacious. The only thing to consider is it is up 3 flights of stairs, and has very low ceilings / beams so may be difficult if you are tall. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Francesca

We stayed 4 nights at David’s lovely Rome apartment. It was a perfect location for what we wanted. Community before, during and after was excellent. The apartment looked exactly like the photos. We could not have had a better way to end our European holiday. I can thoroughly recommend David’s apartment for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the culture of Rome. Thank you David, we had a great time.

Paola’s studio apartment is perfect for a couple. The communications from arrival to departure, the location, the amenities and suggestions were spot on. The breakfast treats she left for us were delicious. Unique to Paola’s apartment were travel tips from the apartment to sights of interest in little boards by the door so planning our journeys ended up being really easy. While it is a little out of town, getting around was really easy as the area is well connected with buses, metro and train. Termini was reachable in just over 20 minutes, and Fiumicino was just under an hour away. There are gems of cafes, gelatarias, restaurants etc as well as supermarkets all within a stone’s throw. Our favourites were Il Gelataria, MiMo cafe (both directly opposite the main entrance to the apartment), Pizza chef for award winning pinsere, and Les Amis wine bar for aperitivo. Luigi’s place was wonderful. We greatly appreciated the well stocked kitchen that included bottled water, yogurts, cookies, and many other goodies to enjoy. The location is great. Very close to the center of the action but far enough to be super peaceful. Note, there are steep stairs particularly to the second bedroom. We didn’t have any problem with it but it’s not for everyone. If we are back in Ostuni, I’d love to stay back at this home.

Positano... Is an amazing little town... The Apartment has everything you need to feel relaxed..Close to the store and Places to eat. Rooms nice size... We counted 714 steps from beach to apartment which is part of The charm.. One warning.. Private Beach Club is $40 EU per chair to start and goes up from there... Were a family of 4 And Preferred the Public Beach.... Only item missing from apartment is beach towels which we suggested. This apartment great value and experience

Such a beautiful spot to explore the beautiful scenery and villages of Tuscany

Wir kamen wegen Verspätung unseres Fluges spätabends an. Cosimo's Eltern haben uns trotzdem sehr, sehr herzlich empfangen, sich sehr viel Zeit genommen uns alles zu zeigen und uns sogar noch eine Pizza besorgt. Das Haus ist perfekt, schön ruhig, bietet viel Platz zum Entspannen. Es war alles an Grundausstattung da, was man braucht. Das Haus ist wunderschön, modern und praktisch eingerichtet und mit vielen kleinen durchdachten Details ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich ist sehr großzügig und bietet viel Schatten. Zum Strand sind es nur ein paar Meter, und unter der Woche waren keine Leute da. Wir hatten eine perfekte Woche.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans le logement de Mimma. La maison était chaleureuse comme l'hote qui était aux petits soins pour nous. Encore merci à Mimma et à sa Maman pour les gâteaux maison et les provisions. Mimma est très souriante, réactive tout en étant discrète. On a adoré la visite du trullo qui est vraiment une fierté pour Mimma qui a su préserver cet héritage familial. La localisation du logement est parfaite pour visiter les Pouilles. Venez chez Mimma, vous en repartirez ravis comme nous l'avons été.

Great base to explore Florence with all the amenities you need. We really appreciated all the coffee pods! Matteo was an excellent host, accommodating an early check in and booking us a taxi. The house is a 20 minute walk into the tourist spots, which is further than you think in the Summer heat! Recommend eating/drinking in the local bars rather than across the river, it’s a great neighbourhood. Santarosa Bistrot and Piazza Santo Spirito were our favourites. Highly recommend!

The apartment is very interesting as decoration, at the end of the old town with beautiful and peasful panorama. Everything is clean and tidy. Walking distance from the center, good restaurants in the vicinity. Host was very responsive and helpful with local advice.

Daniela was accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The interior of the apartment was clean with very nicely renovated kitchen and bathroom. Location of the apartment was excellent close to walking, and if need be taxi station.

Martina was so kind and helpful, she even gave us a brief tour of the apartment upon check in. She ensured we knew where everything was located and she has a binder of any information needed. We enjoyed the seating area in front for breakfast and coffee. We loved how close the apartment is from the train station so we could walk to and from to save us time and some money. The location is very walkable to many restaurants, shops and sights. We loved that there is a grocery store near by and also a "sight seeing bus" stop around the corner. We found the bedding comfortable and the apartment felt safe. Everything is very nice and ready for guests who may decide to have a meal in vs going out too.

Alessandro was a great host. He was very responsive, proactively communicated and made our stay stress free and enjoyable. Apartment is located close to the train station but also in the heart of all the activities. Alessandro was very kind and he let us check in early in unbearable heat. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

Watersdoor was the highlight of our Italian honeymoon! At the start of our stay, Maria and her daughter were very friendly and greeted us to show us the way to the condo. Upon our arrival, the candles, mini bottle of champagne, and rose petals were such nice touches. The condo is beautifully decorated, clean, and has all that you need for a stay in Venice. The washer/dryer came in handy as well! Maria provided excellent recommendations (e.g., restaurants, transportation suggestions, sights, special events in the area, etc.) throughout our trip. Maria made our honeymoon a memorable experience and we are very grateful!!

We've stayed in many nice AirBnbs, but few have truly made us feel as comfortable and at home as this place did. Very easy walk to the main piazza with shopping and cafes. 6 min walk from a lovely park with a weekly farmer's market. Food and coffee on the same block, and near a large grocery store. Nice desk/work space, good air conditioning. One thing to note is you have to climb four flights of stairs and there's no elevator. Also, the couch is small for 2 people. Still, we would stay here again.
