This property has everything you could ever want in a break away with family and friends. Quiet and secluded while still be closer enough to Drum for a night out or supplies. The house was really well done with a homely feel that set you at ease straightaway. Being able to relax by the river and having a huge garden to relax in were the highlight for me. But the best part of this trip was Kay herself. Full of local recommendations and very responsive, we never struggled for things to do. Also her little touches were fantastic. The best host I've ever had while staying in Airbnb's!! Would stay with her again in a heartbeat

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

Absolute perfection- already trying to find dates to return. Beds were extremely comfortable, the place was completely spotless, property extensively spacious and the views! Oh my god, the views! Kitchen well catered for- Inc a Bosch coffee machine you should buy pods for. There is also a Webber kettle bbq outside. Hot tub was modern and just such a treat after the Glen Tarken hike. Superb property. The house was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of living space. The views across the loch are amazing. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the large garden, which is very private and not overlooked. We should have made more of the outside patio with the well appointed garden furniture. Lynn the host sent us really useful info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We did quite a few and they were all great recommendations. She also responded to queries about activities really quickly and checked in to make sure everything about our stay was going ok. Location is really good. Easy access to nearby Rhu and Helensburgh. We found it a good base from which venture out for a range of activities and big enough to spend time in the garden and house - and enjoy the views. A great property and brilliant host. We would highly recommend.

Rock Cottage was a great ‘study camp’ for my daughter in the run-up to her exams. The house was immaculate and very much a home from home. The beds were very comfortable. The highlight, though, is outdoors - the wild garden is enchanting and full of bird life - we loved sitting in the sun room watching the swallows outside, followed by the bats at dusk. It’s in a very peaceful location but only a short drive to Kenmore or Aberfeldy for shops and restaurants. We’d love to be back!

This is a smartly presented and well laid out place to stay. Although we were only here for two nights, we soon felt at home. highly recommended.

Well, where do we start. This place was the country pace and experience we were looking for. We like the country, we don’t mind the things that come with it. Liz was kind, very intentional and the home felt like home. The bedding was very firm and we had a few stiff necks, but we were too busy having fun!

Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

Had really great stay , tha accommodation was great had everything you needed. The boys loved the holiday and exploring Scotland was awesome

Amazing homely cottage in a nice private location. This was our last night of rest post-NC500. A shame we only stayed a night, could easily have done a few more and really explored the amenities in the village. Nonetheless a fantastic stay, very comfortable and friendly hosts.

Just back from a fab stay here. The Chalet has every comfort you could think of and made our time at the site very enjoyable. Another shout out for the air fryer and dish washer plus generous supplies were in stock for our arrival. The whole place was lovely and clean with a surprising amount of space. There is a lot to do in the area, the Ayr farm park was a massive hit for our kiddo. Highly recommend!

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

There was really nothing not to like, the accommodation was as described , modern , comfortable and spacious. Sleeps four adults and two kids albeit at that point lounge seating may be a bit squeezed. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the view from the balcony idyllic. Beware Wemyss Bay is a small place and you need to travel to find a selection of restaurants if that is what you want. However the chippie down the hill is excellent. The biggest test … we would definitely go back !

The caravan was easy to find and is well located by train, ferry and bus connections. It offers stunning views across the water and is really comfortable. Samuel is a great communicator.

Fabulous stay on Lismore. The Bunkhouse is in a stunning setting and we loved that it was so comfortable, cosy but also environmentally sustainable. Mike was super helpful and gave us lots of helpful advice about things to do on the island. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful cabin with charming interior and fabulous wood burner. Truly excellent location for hiking in Glen Lyon. Tim was a fabulous host who gave the airbnb experience we remember from the early days which is often missing now. Loved it!

Cladaich Lodge is a beautiful property in the most stunning location! Fantastic lodge which is so well equipped and styled. The views are amazing! Anne and Ian and great hosts whho are very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend a stay here and we also hope to come back one day.

What a fantastic place to stay on the Island - so much so that we booked a further night ! Arriving in early February we didn't know what to expect but as soon as we opened the door it was lovely and warm and welcoming ! The location could not be better if you enjoy peace and quiet and fantastic views out over the sea loch and islands. We will definitely be back !

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the cottage had all the equipment we could possibly need — from kitchen essentials to comfortable bedding and even thoughtful little extras. The location is perfect if you’re looking to relax and unwind in beautiful natural surroundings. We enjoyed the fresh air and the calm of the countryside. The host clearly put a lot of love into the place, with plenty of charming details that made it feel both homey and special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, well-equipped escape in a lovely setting!

Ich war mit meinen beiden erwachsenen Töchtern bei John&Dora. Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Als wir bei der Anreise Schwierigkeiten hatten, haben sie sofort ihre Hilfe angeboten. Die shortbreads waren sehr lecker 😋 Sehr schöne Lage und tolle Umgebung. Dankeschön 🙏

Robbie is a fantastic host. We travelled nearly 7hrs to get to the location and I asked him if it would be possible to check in early. He was so so flexible and couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to check in at 12 which really really helped us out. The lodge is in a great location if you enjoy walking or exploring. You have a beach nearby as well as loads of walks. We went for dinner in Dunoon at the 51st state which was very nice! I also left my jacket at Robbie’s lodge and he has been kind enough to return it to me. Lovely place to explore… thank you
