We had a lovely stay at The Curling Pond. It is in a fabulous position - right next to the Inverary Castle estate and convenient to the town without being noisy. Spacious and with everything we needed. The host Peter is very helpful, and we would highly recommend it.

The promise of the view was fabulous and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place, this is the place. It is not perfectly placed if you are looking for tourist places to visit but the place is enough for itself for a few nights and it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The bedrooms and living rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. Thank you for providing a beautiful home like this.

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

Tina communicated all instructions and was very responsive and helpful to our questions offering suggestions and solutions. We enjoyed our stay in beautiful Islay and would stay at Tina’s place again!

Great well equipped house, amazing views, walking distance to the pub, loads of hot water, comfy beds and sofas, everything worked. Dog friendly. No off road parking but there was always plenty of space on the road in front of the house

The place is very nicely designed and you can relax perfectly. It has very good amenities and is ideally suited for small groups of friends or family. The place is ideal on Islay. We would always book this Airbnb again.

David's place was our favourite during this one week holiday in Scotland. The location is amazing and seeing the water from the livingroom and bedroom windows was wonderful. However, what made it stand apart from other accommodations was the interior design: every single space inside the house is tasteful and cosy, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and the quality of towels, soaps and shower gels are five star hotel level. David and Amanda are great hosts, very friendly and thoughtful, and it is evident that the comfort of their guests is their priority - also, we were delighted to meet them in person. We were sorry to leave after only one day there and will be happy to go back when next in Scotland.

We had a lovely one day but certainly a place to stay for the week. Is close to city centre, extremely well appointed with three full bathrooms ( a rarity in all of UK!!!) in a 4 bedroom home. Loved the fact that minutest details were taken care of and the freshly baked shortbread surprise was a winner! Is a must-stay in Oban! Park the car and walk around. Thank you for the memories!

We had an amazing stay! The host was absolutely lovely and provided exceptional service from start to finish. Everything was perfect—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of space for our dog to run around and enjoy. We also really appreciated the little touches like the coffee and dog-friendly extras. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay. Caravan had everything we needed for our stay including condiments, iron, towels etc. Beautifully decorated and in a peaceful area. We will definitely be booking again!

It was a really nice place to chill. Personally, Saltcoats didn’t have a lot of what I look for in terms of dining and entertainment . The dogs loved the beaches nearby and because the caravan was so nice I was happy cooking and spending time chilling out there. I couldn’t have asked for more proactive and helpful hosts and they have made my first Airbnb experience a positive one. Thank you Gemma and Guy your place is lovely.

Extremely peaceful and beautiful location, 30 mins from Oban. Magic views from the living room (lake, mountains, sheep everywhere). A lot of space for 4 adults + 2 kids in the house. A lot of facilities near the house including swimming pool. Clean and comfortable beds. Moved two single beds and provided baby cot as we requested. It was a bit difficult to find the house as we arrived late at night but no big deal. Highly recommended!

A perfect bolthole.... plenty of space inside for us and our 10mth old grandchild. Beautiful decking area with glorious view and we sat out several times..... very private. All mod cons included..... making it a very relaxing place to chill out. When we had a problem with the heating Andrew came and fixed it with a friendly smile. Mary explained all about the Lodge when we arrived and was at the end of the phone if needed. Thank you both. Kathy & Iain

very beautiful and tranquil area. booked my stay as a romantic weekend as was not disappointed. cabin was amazing and just as shown, the area and the estate all added to experience. the on site food truck was very good with locally sourced produce, the chef is definitely a master at his craft. staff were all very friendly and helpful on site and even made the whole planning and booking process a easy with quick responses to any queries I had. couldn't recommend woodlands any more highly

Muin Shepherd's Hut was Heaven. I was travelling with my dog, she lived it too! it's such a beautiful place to stay, the interior is full if charm, put together with lots of thought and love. The bed is very comfortable, very comfortable, 2 ring cooker easy to use. Everything was just perfect. I'm coming back! The Ardnamurchan is definitely my kind of heaven. Paul & Caroline were really friendly and super helpful. 5* all round. I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family.

Walking into the Airbnb we were completely surprised by the view and fabulous apartment! She had everything you needed and had a local whisky sampler for us to try. A nice surprise!

We loved our stay at Fairwinds cabin. It was the perfect start to married life. Everything is so well thought out to make the experience cosy and relaxed. The views from the cabin are insane, we missed them as soon as we left. We loved this side of the island. Communication from Hannah was great. Thank you Hannah!

We wanted to try somewhere different to our usual, that was within our budget, that is dog friendly and Ian’s place stood out by far. This converted church is tucked away between two properties, which we never knew existed! It has a beautiful driveway leading up to the property. The church is shared with a lovely elderly couple (who share the same entrance, but have their own front door to their side of the church) who visit every so often and maintain the grounds. The church has some of the original features which is nice to see and the original stained glass windows. The ground floor master bedroom is a reasonable size and the bed is absolutely comfy! The kitchen is very reasonable sized for both of us. The best feature is the glass conservatory which is a nice place to relax, have a few drinks and watch the wildlife, the birds nest & firth of Clyde. The upstairs is nice and relaxed with two single beds & amazing view of the stars & sunset/rise. Highly recommended!

An immense sense of peace and beauty pervaded us, looking out the window at a castle that once housed Mary Queen of Scots. We could not have been comfier, cosier or happier in this beautifully renovated apartment. Sitting on the window seat watching the Loch is a memory I will carry forever. The great reviews are spot on. Bracken Barn is a wonderful place to stay and we felt right at home. It’s such a labour of love and was so comfortable and welcoming to come back to after a day out. It’s simple and stylish with views to die for - we quite happily could have stayed for longer. Our dog was safe in the garden and could be let out without any worry. Bear in mind there is no tv if that is important to you but the WiFi connection was fine for streaming onto the phone.

The star hut is a very special place - immersed in nature, you can deer watch with a cup of tea from your bed! It's incredibly peaceful and private even though it's just a stone's throw away from the train station - such a perk for those that don't drive. Great walks nearby and can't miss a visit to the tearoom! It's own wonderful thing - so cosy, with great food and freshly baked cakes and most friendly staff.
