Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Argyll and Bute Council

You absolutely have to choose Claire’s place! Beautiful house with breathtaking views from the bedroom and lounge. Very responsive, helpful & generous. Beautiful town and easily accessible from the accommodation. Super comfortable beds & very spacious house throughout: bedrooms, lounge, bathroom & kitchen. When we come back to Scotland from Australia we will make the trip back to Claire’s!

The house was booked for 12 friends, we all had a great stay. The garden was beautiful and we spent most time outside due to the beautiful weather. The rooms were all great sizes and were very clean on arrival. The space in the house was great for the event, and everyone in the party felt so at home in the house. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that you would need. Bathrooms were well kept, and the hosts had left plenty of towels for hotub. The games room was perfect for evening entertainment and we had great laughs in there during our stay. The house location is a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal and 5 min drive into dunoon town. Would highly recommend booking this for a weekend away!

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

The park itself is a 1 way system and the caravan was quite high up. However we stopped to speak to groundsmen on site who straight away said follow me I’ll take you to the caravan. All staff were lovely. The caravan was as described. Very homely and modern. The outdoor space is amazing with lovely rattan furniture and hot tub. We used the hot tub everyday and it’s big enough for 6 people. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side all week so we didn’t dine outside. However I would definitely return. We had a slight issue with heating the first night. Lisa was back and forth messaging and said she would contact staff at reception to rectify the next day. However this was sorted over text in the end. An amazing stay, great views across the water. It was beautiful x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Really enjoyed our stay, felt welcomed and the place was just as described. As a suggestion, it might be a good idea to instal a privacy screen/ divider between the host’s house and the hot tub. Felt private enough but would have been nice to have that extra comfort. Thank you, we will be back!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described, very comfortable. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, 20 mins to Fort William and 15 mins to Glencoe. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Just back from a long weekend with my family for my sons 40th birthday, what an amazing place!! The house was immaculate, soooo well equipped with everything u possibly need and more!!! Everyone had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!!! Thank you soooo much iain, we had a ball!!

Great quirky location for a family get together for a 60th birthday. House was very well equipped, clean and exceeded expectations, would recommend.

This Airbnb was perfection. It looks better than the photos and is so spacious. We had a group of 6 adults and 5 children on this trip and it was plenty of space and bathrooms. Everyone had hot showers. The furniture was comfortable and well kept. The host was incredibly friendly and very proactive. We discovered the coffee maker and iron were broken when we arrived and he quickly came out with new ones. I wish we had more time to spend here because it was beautiful. Well done!

We were a family of 11 and 3 dogs and we were blown away by the villa. When we got inside we were walking from room to room saying wow at every new room. We cannot praise Nicola and James enough for their communication throughout keeping us informed. Everything was just perfect 👌 the extension with the dining room with the long table was our favourite room and the sofa positioned so you could look out over the loch was everyone’s favourite place to be ❤️ The villa is very well stocked with everything you could need and more. I had read about the welcome pack but didn’t dream it would be as lovely as it was (sadly it’s all gone now!) the hot tub was very welcome after a busy day. The scenery in Scotland is stunning. Three of our party climbed Ben Nevis and the drive to Fort William must be one of the most beautiful in Scotland/UK. It really is hard to say enough great things about this house! The location looking over Loch Awe is a feast for the eyes ! The bedrooms all have their own unique vibe with super comfy beds ! The boat shed on the shore is easily accessible if water leisure activities like kayaking interest you. The dock & fire pit with seating will suit you if you love the outdoors & want to be close to the water. If warmer water is your thing hop in the hot tub & let it soothe away any cares you may have. Then you can cook up amazing meals in a professional kitchen that lacks very little for your cooking imagination! And the Games Room holds so many leisure activities & is a lovely private setting on its own. So take your friends on a once in a lifetime trip to this beautiful house on the shore of Loch Awe and prepared to be awed!!! Scott has a gem you don’t want to miss in the Western Highlands of Scotland ❤️😢

We had a brilliant stay at Claire’s lodge at Cameron House. Location was spot-on, and the kids loved all the activities that were available to them, especially the swimming pool, and the park. Lodge was a perfect size for a small family, and Claire was excellent in the lead-up, during, and after our stay, answering any questions and offering local recommendations, and various discounts etc. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning place to stay! Me and my partner booked two nights at The Barn for my 30th Birthday. Catherine’s instructions on how to find the property was spot on! We loved sitting outside and listening to the surroundings. The sea view was lovely to look out on to! On arrival the property was spotless & wood was ready for us to use the hot tub! The handbook was very helpful on things to do in the area & how to start up the hot tub! You wouldn’t think you were on a working farm, we heard nothing & felt so private. Travelling from North Yorkshire was definitely worth it!!! We will be back again!

The perfect stay in the Scottish wilderness without compromising comfort. Loved all the small luxuries like welcome basket, local soaps, gorgeous bathroom with couples robes & of course the hot tub! Fab for a couple travelling with their dog! Will definitely be returning :)

Cabin was lovely and the area was quiet. The community nearby was lovely and there were plenty of walks nearby. the migies were a pest but that was due to the weather and the time of year. Would have been great if the boat hire place was still in use. however the locals said that might be reopening soon. Would happily stay again. Perhaps bring an sleep mask as the early morning light was a little bit of an issue. no lie ins this holiday.

We loved the log cabin and the surrounding area. It was a beautiful location, surrounded by nature and the hot tub was a bonus. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our hosts were responsive and helpful if we needed anything. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Best place we ever stayed. Beautiful views, loved the cows and sheep in the meadow. Hot tub was amazing. Everything was spotless and clean, lots of extras provided.. Beautiful Cuil Bay is at walking distance. We hope to come back someday!
