Brand new cozy cottage 52 m2 with two bedrooms, set with in our farm Hraunháls on Snæfellsnes peninsula. Between Stykkishólmur (20km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km). The cottage has all basic necessities, stove with oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and freezer also washing machine, smart flat screen and free Wi-Fi. There’s a nice patio around the cottage where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and view, listen to birds singing in the summer and spot the northern lights in the winter.

The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

During winter our house offers exceptional view of the aurora borealis and during summer, the midnight sun is beautiful over the bay.

Originally the house was built in 1918. The house is 114 square meters in two floors. 1st floor: Hall with a stair, large bathroom with shower and 3 bedrooms and lounge with sleeping bed. 2nd floor: big kitchen, dining room, living room and small bathroom. In the big garden you will find patio with garden furniture and a Weber gas grill, hot tub, sauna and pergola which makes the place very special. It is very nice to relax in the hot tub and the sauna.

Svanshóll is a cherry berry farm, located 12 km off the Westfjord Ring Road, situated 25 km north of Hólmavík, 250 km north of Reykjavík and 230 km from Ísafjörður. A perfect place to get in touch with nature and to visit our hidden private hot-spring.

Our place is perfect for those that want to explore the Westfjords, with the three top destinations of the area within an hours drive. It is on the ground floor of our house, we live upstairs and are happy to provide information our guests might need for their traveling. The apartment is recently renovated and has great view over the fjord.
