A Peaceful and Welcoming Stay We had a wonderful stay in a lovely, peaceful, and very quiet setting. The free-roaming chickens and the very friendly family dog added to the charm and made us feel right at home. Mark was an excellent host—very responsive and made sure we found the place easily. He was quick to answer any questions we had. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. The breakfast provided was exceptional. There was almost too much to choose from. The kitchen also had everything else you needed to cook up your own dinners. The place was big but really cosy. It was cold when we arrived and Jane had the fire going ready for us which was so welcoming and warm. She was very responsive even with us arriving late at night. She helped us find the place easily and made sure we had everything we needed. The place had all the comforts that you could want. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to come back.

My partner and I had the best time at Bruce's Place. We are already looking forward to staying again. Will certainly recommend to family and friends also. Cheers 🍻

Chandrika and her husband were welcoming and kind. They gave us some fresh fruit from their garden, which was thoughtful. It was a great location for lots of activities around the tablelands. It was very close to Malanda falls and Yungaburra, which was great for wildlife spotting. The facilities are simple, but were good for us and we could cook and do our laundry easily. We stayed a few nights and would have easily been able to stay longer. There are ceiling fans but no AC, but it was not an issue with the time of year and we were comfortable. We weren’t aware the hosts would prefer a checkin during daylight hours, but were flexible on request. They have a few house rules to be aware of like the gate closing at 9pm, but this was fine as it gets dark at 5-6pm anyway. We generally felt the place was very private and peaceful, but the hosts were available for any needs we had. I would recommend staying!
