Cabin vacation rentals in Ironwood

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay while visiting the area to explore hiking trails and waterfalls. The campfire is stocked with wood and kindling and is private. The hot tub is a great way to wind down the day and look up at the stars. Despite the heat, the AC kept the cabin cool. We would definitely stay there again.

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

We had the most amazing time! We will most definitely be back. I couldn’t believe everything that was included. It truly felt like it was our house because everything was just so welcoming!! Incredible location - we LOVED it!

From the moment we pulled in we knew we were going to enjoy this beautiful oasis. We absolutely loved the layout and the peace and quiet. The fire pit was great, remember to bring wood. We are already looking forward to returning soon. Thank you!

Cabin was great! Friendly and helpful neighbors and very peaceful neighborhood. The price was much better than other places we have stayed and the cabin was much nicer and cleaner. We will be coming back again!

Cozy little cabin in the north woods. Comfortable beds. Nice enclosed patio. Located right on the lake. It has all the amenities you would need for a long weekend. We'll stocked kitchen with all the cookware you would need.

This place is cozy, convenient, and clean. We know this part of the northwoods well and the cottage on High Lake has everything you need and is a conveniently located in the heart of some of the best paddling, hiking, and skiing spots. The fireplace and the sunrises were the best, we will definitely be coming back.

Always a great stay on Long Lake in Mercer. I have so many great memories of this place over the last 40 years that I have been coming there. Was sorry that the original owners sold Lucky's Resort, but was ecstatic that we could now rent one of the Cabins.

Excellent cabin close to restaurants/bars but far enough and quiet to enjoy the moon and stars and in my case snow falling in a perfect wintery scene. If you own or rent snowmobile this is an ideal location as well. Cabin is perfectly laid out to maximize space and has everything you need. Cabin was clean with lots of details and Chad & Amber are excellent hosts, they were very responsive. The sofa is comfortable and can be pulled out for additional sleeping. TV in living room and one located in 2nd bedroom with twin bedrooms. There is an outdoor sauna did not utilize but there are lights and speakers pretty cool. It is a fabulous cabin I would definitely book again!

This place was as described and had plenty of amenities and essentials. It had a stocked kitchen for cooking on-site and it was a comfortable place for our group. Located in a friendly area and close to everything that Iron County, WI has to offer. I would recommend for a northern getaway.

Absolutely a lovely place to be! Everything you need and more. The cabin will not disappoint! Beautiful lake for water sports and relaxing. Nice restaurants close by and a kitchen and awesome grill with all the essentials. Can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing cabin! It felt like home away from home with a great view of the lake! We loved kayaking all over the lake and playing games in the evening! A great place to relax and get away from it all! Cannot wait to come back!

The view and roperty were amazing and we really enjoyed the first 1/3 of our honeymoon when we spent a week at this lake side beauty. You have a beautiful fire pit and can watch the lake or the sunsets and it is absolutely breathtaking and that alone is worth the price of admission. We went and visited the black river Harbour waterfalls and they were amazing. Quite a hike but worth it. Bond Falls south of town is the best one we went too by far. However, alot of the restaurants and activities that were recommendations in the book were either closed temporarily, permanently or only open THUR-SUN. The town of Ironwood, during the summer, does not have many options. Also, the is no wifi and no cell service for the most part. Be ready for board games and fires which kept us entertained. All in all we had a great time and would recommend googling the activities around before you go to make sure they are open.

Beautiful, remote home. The generator allowed us access to WiFi as needed but also gave a great “off grid” experience. We had our three kids there (2 months, 3.5 years, and 16 years) and it worked perfect for our needs!

This old farmhouse was just what my friend and I needed to get away for a girls weekend. Secluded and full of birds, deer, HUGE woodpeckers…Close driving distance to the famous Little Girls Point. Public Service Announcement: Do NOT attempt driving down Powers Road further than the farmhouse in the spring! It is dangerously muddy! I thought we were goners! LOL

Our stay was cozy. Host was responsive to questions quickly. I would definitely recommend. Not far from the snowmobile trail.

Our stay at the Lakefront Mercer Cabin was exceptional. The cabin was comfortable and clean, and its location was great. Our group appreciated the updates to the bathrooms, kitchen, and living area and the vinyl collection is legit. We used this as a basecamp to do some cross country skiing and snow biking in the area and found it to be an ideal launching spot. The lake is quiet and beautiful; abounding with wildlife. We'd love to come back in the summer to do some kayaking. The guest contact, Dave was proactive, responsive, and friendly. We would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a comfortable space with history and charm; all with the comforts of home.
