This is the original carriage house from 1892 that has been converted into living quarters with a small fenced in outdoor space. The cozy cottage is made up of two levels. On the floor level, is a small kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with gas fire place (love seat pulls out to a single bed). On the second level, via a narrow steep hayloft staircase, is a king bed, tv, and private balcony. This quaint space is the perfect get away.

Beautiful spot, comfortable bed, nice shower, wonderful hot tub. We have never rented a 'shared' space before but this felt very private. We could hear some footsteps upstairs, but other than that it felt like it's own space, and it was much quieter than a hotel. I wish we could've stayed longer!

This cabin is truly wonderful! My friends and I stayed here for a reunion trip and we had a blast. Only a short drive to downtown lead and deadwood. We loved having the private hot tub and fire pit, as well as access to the community pool. All of the furnishings and decor are cute as can be. They’ve really thought of everything you may need during your stay. I loved the touch of the record player, records, and wireless speaker. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you may need. Thanks Bre and Tom!

Absolutely magical place. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect from the hustle of life and enjoy the pristine alpine air and breathtaking views , look no further ! Our family and three kids loved every single moment at the cabin. We loved the sunsets over the porch as we looked over the bear lodge mountains in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking the back trails of the black hills national forest just steps away from the cabin. We marveled at witnessing horses, cows , mule deer and pronghorn on the iconic dirt roads surrounding the ranches nearby. The views of the Milky Way at night were unparalleled. We spent countless hours nearby the water trough cooling off and enjoying the mountain spring water. We can’t wait to come back to this black hills haven and make more memories as a family! Our kids all shed some tears as we said goodbye. We left truly rested and inspired. Best of all, we felt that we didn’t have to leave and drive all over the place to enjoy and rest.

Just beautiful. What a magical spot in the middle of the woods. Saw countless deer, marmots, and turkeys. Enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds, and wood burning stove. Hit up the Pizza Lab & Jake’s while we were in town and Lynn’s Dakotamart has everything you would need. Thanks for sharing your dreamy space with us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cade's property, which offered a variety of unique features that significantly enhanced our experience. The thoughtful provision of all necessary amenities, including a hairdryer 🙃, ensured a comfortable and convenient visit. The scenic views were exceptional, and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub offered a perfectly relaxing retreat. We also appreciated the friendliness of the neighbors we encountered and particularly enjoyed the daily sightings of deer and fox.
