The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. TV's are Streaming Capable, but you need to log into your account or watch free streaming apps, etc. DVD player in Livingroom. some DVD's available. Ft Cooper State Park 1.1 miles away accessible by walking, car, or bicycle. Eden Park boat ramp is 3 city blocks away. 1 block away you have Cedar River Seafood restaurant & Cinnamon Sticks restaurant. Downtown is 7 minutes away having interesting things to see and do.

What a view, what a really good view, YES IT IS! Watch the sunrise and sunset over the water on a private dock. We have 2 canoes and 2 kayaks to enjoy the water or bring your boat! This is a place you will want to come back to time and time again. Water views from all angles, you will feel like you're on a houseboat there's so much water! Plenty of room for outdoor games and activities. Pet friendly. Just a short drive to downtown Inverness and 30 minutes to Crystal River. Simply perfect!

Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment is close by. Want a beach....35 minute ride to Fort Island Trail Beach and boat ramp. We do allow hypoallergenic small dogs (2 max), non-shedding, 25 lbs. or less, each w/ proof of shot records, please bring a kennel with you. There is a non refundable $25.00 per dog fee.

The Gulf of Mexico is just 14 miles to Crystal River which has a nice local beach. Scalloping and Manatee watching and much more to do in Citrus county. Orlando and Disney are just a little over an hours drive.
