We had a great weekend. Spacious and clean and we really enjoyed our time!

Very nice home and wonderful host. Had a small issue with "check-in" but host was immediately available and helped make the process very smooth. More of an error on my end than his, but his attentiveness eased my mind that if anything was needed throughout our stay, that he would be available. Thankfully everything else went smoothly and there was no need to contact him. Home is very serene and very close to downtown location and very short driving distances to other areas. Host did a great job giving recommendations of things to do and see in the area. Home had plenty of space for what we needed.

Waylon is a great host. He answered all of our questions and gave us several local recommendations.

Derek was an amazing host, very helpful with all of his tips and communication. The place is great, our family loved it, and we can’t wait to stay here again!

This house is simply wonderful. It has the best beachy cottage summer vibes! The location is also great very private for being somewhat close to the city, and very close to Six Flags. We especially loved mornings on the deck and taking the kayaks out on the lake. Can't wait to stay again!

It was our first time to Galena. We were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway to celebrate our 20th. The house was exactly as described in a serene setting within Galena Territory. We enjoyed hiking, biking, and wineries all within a short drive, and then relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. We didn't partake in any of the included amenities within Galena Territory, but noted it as a positive that we would take advantage of for future trips. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

Amazing place, stunning views, and incredible amenities. We’d give it 6 stars if we could. The early morning hot tub over looking the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. From billiards, to fishing, driving golf balls into the lake, and games galore, this place is fun for the whole family! The friendly and knowledgeable host provides a river themed stay and adventure that we will never forget.

We really enjoyed our weekend at this lovely house while we were in town for the Rockford 1/2 Ironman. It was just a short drive to the race and great to come back to this cozy, beautifully decorated house with a stunning view of the River. We drank our coffee and watched the sunrise each morning. Matthew, the host was always available for any questions. We would absolutely stay here again!

Kimberly's place is beautiful! The lake setting is peaceful and welcoming. The home has been wonderfully remodeled. All the furniture is comfortable and fits the beauty of the home! The kitchen has everything you need from spices to pots and pans as well as a few items for leftovers too! Beds were comfy. The deck was perfect to sit and have coffee on and watch the sunrise or a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the lake! We highly recommend Kim's place!

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

A Beautiful Lake House! Steve was very responsive & made sure we felt like we were at home! The house was beautiful and so was the view. Will Definitely come here again!

Beautiful little lakefront home, even when getting rained in the extension on the home installed on the basement made inside only days exceptionally fun

We had the opportunity to meet Tammy when we arrived. She is a sweet and kind person who had great suggestions on restaurants and was happy to move boats into the water for us. Once we got inside we were greeted by the well-working air conditioner, which is really nice in the middle of June. The house had plenty of space for us to spread out and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make a variety of meals. The barbecue grill also had supplies. The peace and quiet we receive at her property is always so nice and we hope to return next year.

This was our 4th time staying at Kristen's lake house. We attend the Moccasin Creek Music Festival at Lake Sara each year and for us Kristen's lake house is the perfect place to stay for the festival. The lake house is always super clean and in perfect shape when we arrive. Firewood for the firepit out back is provided for free and they have kayaks there too. Lake Sara is a wonderful place to stay, a beautiful lake with a public beach, a disc golf course, a regular golf course, an amazing brand new public playground right by the beach and Pinky's restaurant that is right on the lake.

Beautiful home. Nice and private, but close enough to everything we needed. The kayaks and lake were the best part for our kids!

My husband and I enjoyed our long, relaxing weekend at the cozy cabin. Everything was set up beautifully, from the abundance of fluffy towels, coffee pods, microwave popcorn and lake side decor. We felt like we were a home away from home. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. It's right on Matanzas Beach, minutes from Havana. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin felt much larger than expected. Lynda has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ grill. The views are gorgeous, and sitting on the deck or by the firepit during sunset is not to be missed. There are some great restaurants / bars in Havana, including Babe's, Stag Tap, Lulu's, and Riverside Grill. And of course Peaches for ice cream. Lynda was very helpful & checked on us to make sure we got in & had everything we needed. I would love to stay at the cabin again!

Inviting! Cute! Accommodating! Spotless! Husband, two puggles, and I visited for a long weekend, and we actually stayed an extra day because we loved it so much. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee on the deck. We spent the day hiking, visiting Ferne Clyffe, Bell Smith Springs, and Giant City. Lake access was just what we needed after a day of hiking. We jumped in the water from the dock, took out the paddle boat, and fished. Yes, the lake access is shared with host's other properties, but not only is everyone there to also chill, but we actually didn't overlap with anyone. In the evenings we sat on the deck again, sipping the local wines and observing nature. The deck sparkled with fairy lights. Hosts are so kind and friendly! A few "clutch" items: the silicon wine glasses for the lake; washer/dryer & detergent; firewood & firestarter; gas grill; coffee! Bluetooth speaker. The hosts thought of everything & are phenomenal. Thank you so much for an awesome getaway--we'll be back!

The cabin was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. Caught four bass within the first five minutes of fishing right off the shore behind the cabin. The basement and Deck space were great aswell.

We found this Lake Paradise cabin to be the perfect place to celebrate our 56th anniversary! Upscale, exceptionally clean, well furnished, quiet, comfortable, splendid nature viewing, especially views from the deck, robust wildlife, particularly the herons and turkey vultures. Loved the knotty pine! Idyllic location. We hope to be able to stay again.

We had a peaceful couple of days. Loved the paddleboards for exploring the lake(s).

Airbnb automatically confirmed our reservation before the host had approved it, and unfortunately, the home wasn’t available for all the dates we had booked.Thankfully, Mallory responded quickly and went above and beyond to help us find an alternative that was perfect for our family. Her responsiveness and customer service were truly top-notch!

Me and my family of 12 spent 4 nights in this beautiful home! There were two lakes, one out front and one in back. We did most of our fishing at the lake in the back on the pontoon. All together we caught a total of probably 40-50 fish a day. 1-2lbs bluegills and some pretty good sized bass. The power went out but the generator immediately kicked on. The house had everything my family needed and more! Tom, our host was very interactive and was able to help us with anything we needed. The sleeping in the loft, for the most part is completely open so not a whole lot of privacy with our big family. But the beds were comfortable and everything was pretty clean! For the house being in the middle of the woods the bugs weren’t too bad. There was always something to do! So many games, kayaks, paddle boats, and more. Take the time to eat at Skillet Fork Grill nearby!!! It was the best breakfast out i’ve ever had. My family LOVED this place and we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend, and felt so relaxed after a day full of activities. It felt like a home away from home! We worked the kayaks into our itinerary, and also did some hiking and visited Bell Smith Spring. There's so much more to explore in the area, I'd definitely stay here again if we make it out that way in the future!
