We had a great stay at this lovely, nicely refurbished and well-maintained farmhouse. The kitchen was well-stocked with all of the tools we could have needed and more (some basic food supplies and hot chocolate were an unexpected bonus!). Unlike many hotels and other AirBnBs that provide just a couple of tiny bath towels, the towels here were very nicely sized, there were plenty of them, and they were fluffy and super clean! All of the linens were spotless and they didn't have a strong detergent smell, which I appreciated due to my allergies. The exterior of the property was verdant and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Jan’s place! The property was exactly as described—clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was great for getting a bit of work done. The location was perfect—close to downtown, restaurants, parks and freeways, but still peaceful and quiet. I felt safe and relaxed throughout my entire visit. What truly set this stay apart was the host’s hospitality. Jan was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful from start to finish, offering great local tips and making sure I had everything I needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a fantastic stay!

This was a fantastic spot for us during our time in the Windy City. GREAT location, clean, had everything we needed and then some. The host was responsive and welcoming. The view of the skyline is amazing-especially at night. The deck is amazing at night to gather and in the morning for coffee as the city wakes up. The open space layout has a lovely area to play cards and binge watch a show after a long day of exploring and shopping all the while wnjoying the view. I chose peaceful as a description in my rating because we didn't hear anyone else in the building and it was private; felt very safe, however it is downtown so don't expect the city sounds to be quiet. We didn't get bothered with noise at night when we slept at all. Bring your eye masks becuase even with the shades, it still gets bright if you're bothered by things like that. Definitely would recommend to others and we for sure will stay again. Thank you so much for being wonderful hosts! Cheers! Until next time!

Right smack-dab in the middle of the West Dundee downtown. Great options for small things to do around it. Nice and clean, a whole river trail next door, and easy in and out. Great place to stay and will definitely be back.

Location was perfect - close to restaurants, public transportation and the lake shore. The size was perfect for two people. The car parking is Super helpful. Extra towels would be helpful. We never cooked - it would be manageable but very be tight to do any sort of cooking. Would recommend staying here.
