Beautiful, spacious apartment with everything you need. Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and everything is nice nearby😊. Our 3-year-old daughter also loved it because there is a large playground next to the complex. We have enjoyed the island partly thanks to the accommodation!

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The neighborhood is very walkable and there are great restaurants nearby. I would have liked to stayed longer!

Our family of four stayed for one night and had a great experience. The apartment is in a central spot for exploring the area, with an amazing food hall just steps away. The space was spotless, very comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. We didn’t want for anything. We even did a load of laundry, which was a big help in keeping us clean and fresh on our travels. Communication with the host was clear and easy. We would absolutely stay again.

Heiða’s place was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and Heiða was a wonderful host. We would love to return in the future!

Jóhanna’s place was everything and more! Unbeatable location: within a couple minute walk to the local coffee shop/bakery, bookstore, restaurants, and local sites. Walkable to the ferry as well. Parking right out front and a lot next door. Easy check in. Spacious, clean (aside from a little dust but I always wipe surfaces down anyways), and clean towels/linens. We felt right at home and would recommend this hands down. We truly didn’t want to leave and are so thankful to have had such a wonderful first stay in Iceland. Thank you Jóhanna, you have a gem of a place!

We rented this beautifully renovated apartment near Selfoss with views of Hekla, Eyjafjallajökull, Vestmannaeyjar and up to the Knarrarósviti lighthouse for 12 nights. Easy to find, good parking, check-in via key box, detailed information from the landlord via AirBnB. Washer-dryer available in the kitchen. Very friendly red and white cat included in the rental. We felt very comfortable here. The only drawback: we couldn't find a broom or vacuum cleaner. We didn't test the hot tub.

We really liked the place and the hot tub...Only problem...We had the window open the second night and there were so many midges coming in....... It has nothing to do with the house but might be good to know... Apart from that we had a very good time.

Very nice house with amazing views

We had a great time in Ari’s property. Everything is perfect and fully equipped, it is a warm and beautiful place. We walked around and also feed horses, it was fun. We will definitely come again if we visit Iceland in the future.

Location was perfect for sightseeing near and far. The airbnb was very comfortable and warm with a well equipped kitchen. Trausti was a great host. I would highly recommend this place.

Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

We wish this was our house! It was a stylish design which gave beautiful views of the Icelandic countryside and wildlife around. It had everything we needed for our family of 4, including supplying a highchair and cot for our younger son. Faxifoss wayerfall was a short walk away and places like Geysir and Gullfoss were a short drive from the cottage. The owners were always quick to respond to our queries and gave us a great recommendation of a local tomato restaurant where you can eat unlimited tomato soup and bread in a greenhouse. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

My wife, 16 month baby and myself had a great stay at Dagny’s place. It was very well stocked, especially for a toddler. It had a high chair, pack N play, toys, books, plates etc. The location was great and close to many sights around. I would recommend this place for anyone, especially those with children.

Loved the apartment. Was very clean, organized, spacious and quiet. Anna was a great host. Most importantly we were able to see the northern lights from the balcony. We had an amazing time. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful place, felt like out of a painting! Bed was comfy and cozy, Helena was super nice and helpful!

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious, extremely well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was amazing, with more tools and utensils than we could ever use. It is about a 10 minute walk to the New Old Selfoss area, where most of the shopping that we used is located. Sindri was responsive to our requests and accommodating to our needs.

Gunnsi’s apartment was conveniently located in the adorable town of Selfoss close to restaurants and grocery stores. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was super clean! Lots of conveniences like outlets with USB ports by the bed! And hosts were quick to respond to messages! I was a little concerned when we first arrived because the upstairs neighbor had a dog that barked but we only heard it when we would come and go. We would definitely stay again!

Kolbrun's home is beautiful, with nice view and very spacious, we really appreciated being able to do laundry after many days travelling. The communication went smoothly and the house had everything we needed :)

We loved our stay at Margret's! The location was perfect for all the things we had planned for our time there. Also Margret was proactive and checked in on us when the Icelandic weather was moving in. We appreciated her concern and advice! We would definitely stay there again!
