Nancy was an incredibly polite and friendly host, She was always easy to reach and had many good and interesting tips for the area. The accommodation itself is lovingly furnished and you feel right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, and sometimes it almost feels like you're looking at a work of art. The host communicated and responded quickly where necessary. I liked the accommodation very much. Something about how the rooms were located and the decor. It was very well utilized. I felt comfortable in the apartment that had everything and more than one could expect - after what you had been told through pictures and text. It was a great place both to stay and to sleep, absolutely incredibly quiet bedroom. Some photos are often taken with a wide angle so that it will look extra large. There's no need for that here. I was very impressed with a practical, smart, clean and well-maintained apartment. You felt welcome, as soon as you locked yourself in.

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

Stayed here for 3 nights in connection with the Stord Cup, had a great time. 10-15 minutes to walk to the cup, quiet and peaceful and with plenty of space in the apartment
