Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. It’s about 10 miles from both York and Malton, Castle Howard is under 6 miles away, and the coast can be reached in under an hour. Grooms Cottage sleeps 4 guests+2 babies +dogs

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. Countryside location near to York

Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 8 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.
