Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Howe Sound

The comfort of the cabin was perfect for our rainy weekend away as we ended up spending most of our stay indoors. The little fireplace kept the space cozy and warm for when we came in from the hot tub. Plenty of room to set up a large dog bed and the enclosed deck was wonderful to allow her to roam without any worry of her wandering off. We had a lovely time at Ash & Brett's.

Coastal retreat was lovely and perfect for two couples. 2 bathrooms seemed like quite a luxury. Suite was clean, view and property were beautiful. Dyan greeted us when we arrived. Dyan and Des were responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this property and would for sure stay again. Everything was exactly as described.

The private deck was great. Lots of good places to eat in Gibsons and a little further away in Sechelt. Overall a nice, relaxing stay.

My fiancé and I had stayed here a few months ago, with our dog, and it was exactly like our last visit- absolutely wonderful! Ramona had the place sparkling it was so clean and made sure to have the place smelling great. She was always very responsive and made the whole visit stress free. The 3 of us absolutely LOVE it here and will definitely be coming back next time we visit the coast! Do not hesitate to book a stay here, as you will not be disappointed. We had such a wonderful stay here! The views were absolutely stunning from every window. The interior was sparkling clean and so thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect, just minutes from Birch Bay State Park for peaceful beach walks. We saw so many great blue herons and bald eagles! Marie was such kind host and always very responsive. Truly such a luxurious experience.

We loved our stay here! It is our new favorite Airbnb and we’ve stayed in many. Honestly we wished we had longer to enjoy it. The setting is stunning and the apartment is beautiful with everything you could need. My husband and I went on some beautiful hikes that were not far from the house. I also have really bad environmental allergies and had no issues at all! It was clean and I also appreciated that even the laundry detergent was allergy-friendly with no strong smells (and also so nice that there was detergent to use). Lisa thought of everything and we plan to return!

Super location - walkable to all services with trails literally on the property doorstep. House was very clean, well appointed and super comfortable with lots of places to lounge inside and out. Michelle and her husband were very friendly and excellent communicators.

The pictures really don’t do justice to how perfect the view is here- it is amazing!! We saw humpback whales jumping not even 200 yards from the deck, truly amazing! Vahid is also a very great and communicative host. He made sure to let us know when wildlife was in the vicinity. Highly recommend a stay here!

Lydia's place was great for us! So clean, had everything we needed, perfect location. She's very easy to reach anytime and a lovely person. As noted by others there is construction nearby and ambulances bc of nearby hospital but it's only in the day and we got pretty used to it. It's one of the nicest places we've stayed so unless you need quiet all day and won't be going out I wouldn't hesitate to book this lovely place.

I stayed at Julia and Mike’s while I was visiting friends in the Vancouver area. The space was beautiful, clean, quiet, and perfect for my quick trip. Their place easy to access and is served by two bus routes that were reliable. Julia and Mike were friendly and very responsive to messages. Would book again and I recommend their place to anyone looking to stay in North Vancouver!

I booked Sandra and Rob’s place for my parents, and it couldn’t have worked out better. The location was perfect, right around the corner from me, in the heart of Kitsilano, with easy access to public transit and everything walkable. Sandra and Rob were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the start. They went above and beyond to make my parents feel at home, with thoughtful touches like granola and berry preserve waiting for them on arrival. They checked in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly, and it was clear they genuinely cared. My parents really enjoyed chatting with both Sandra and Rob! The suite itself was very comfortable, fully equipped with a kitchen, which made it great for a longer stay. By the end of the trip, my parents felt like honorary Kits residents!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in downtown Vancouver! The location is incredibly central; just a few minutes' walk from Robson Street; and the neighborhood felt safe and clean. The unit itself was pristine: spotless white linens and towels, gleaming surfaces, and sparkling clean throughout. I especially loved the floor-to-ceiling windows in every room that offered stunning views of the city skyline. The host was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.

We have traveled to many countries and major cities and these hosts top them all! Very detail oriented! They greeted us from the start, described the area with advice, and they provided a guide for everything you could ever need! We loved how clean the place was and it smelled so good! We loved our stay at Kristine‘s Airbnb! The apartment was great, perfect size. The location was great, nice and centrally located. Kristine was very responsive to our communication and was able to let us leave our luggage there before check-in time since we arrived early! we were really grateful for that. The apartment was clean! the view was great! including a water view and the place was well stocked with everything we needed. Check-in instructions and exit instructions were clear and easy and we would definitely come back and stay here!!! Thanks so much Kristine 😁 we have the best time‼️

The only complaint I have is the bed in the bedroom. Could not sleep on it very squeaky, wiggly, mattress very lumpy.. needs a foam mattress and new frame. It was so uncomfortable. Thank god the couch was comfortable. Hopefully he will replace the bed by the next time I stay.

It was very cozy and home like apartment. And appreciate Rob for all the clear instructions on how to check in and check out. Loved it.
