Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Howe Sound

Coastal retreat was lovely and perfect for two couples. 2 bathrooms seemed like quite a luxury. Suite was clean, view and property were beautiful. Dyan greeted us when we arrived. Dyan and Des were responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this property and would for sure stay again. Everything was exactly as described.

The private deck was great. Lots of good places to eat in Gibsons and a little further away in Sechelt. Overall a nice, relaxing stay.

My fiancé and I had stayed here a few months ago, with our dog, and it was exactly like our last visit- absolutely wonderful! Ramona had the place sparkling it was so clean and made sure to have the place smelling great. She was always very responsive and made the whole visit stress free. The 3 of us absolutely LOVE it here and will definitely be coming back next time we visit the coast! Do not hesitate to book a stay here, as you will not be disappointed. The peaceful and cozy vibes make this a perfect getaway 😊

We loved our stay here! It is our new favorite Airbnb and we’ve stayed in many. Honestly we wished we had longer to enjoy it. The setting is stunning and the apartment is beautiful with everything you could need. My husband and I went on some beautiful hikes that were not far from the house. I also have really bad environmental allergies and had no issues at all! It was clean and I also appreciated that even the laundry detergent was allergy-friendly with no strong smells (and also so nice that there was detergent to use). Lisa thought of everything and we plan to return!

Super location - walkable to all services with trails literally on the property doorstep. House was very clean, well appointed and super comfortable with lots of places to lounge inside and out. Michelle and her husband were very friendly and excellent communicators.

We had a great stay - the huge windows and expansive deck take full advantage of the views! We found the location to be fantastic - quiet, near Lost Lake trail (2 minute drive or stroll down the road), convenient to grocery shopping, restaurants, amazing Nanaimo city parks, and the waterfront, where we had a fantastic whale watching afternoon with Vancouver Island Whale Watch. The home was extremely clean, which we really appreciated. There was ample parking, too. We enjoyed the sectional sofas on both levels for family game night and movie night. And, it was SO convenient to have a washer and dryer for washing our hiking clothes. We appreciated that there were basics, like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, salt and pepper, detergent and dryer sheets, that we have sometimes had to go out and buy when staying in other places. Nice touch!

The pictures really don’t do justice to how perfect the view is here- it is amazing!! We saw humpback whales jumping not even 200 yards from the deck, truly amazing! Vahid is also a very great and communicative host. He made sure to let us know when wildlife was in the vicinity. Highly recommend a stay here!

Alles war wie beschrieben & die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war super! Check-In sehr unkompliziert und wohlwollend. Nochmals herzlichen Dank, es war uns eine Freude!

We absolutely loved Masako’s place! 20 minute walk to the Lonsdale Quay, lots of restaurants/bars around. Absolutely loved the peaceful neighborhood. Masako was also super responsive and easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Lydia's place was great for us! So clean, had everything we needed, perfect location. She's very easy to reach anytime and a lovely person. As noted by others there is construction nearby and ambulances bc of nearby hospital but it's only in the day and we got pretty used to it. It's one of the nicest places we've stayed so unless you need quiet all day and won't be going out I wouldn't hesitate to book this lovely place.

I stayed at Julia and Mike’s while I was visiting friends in the Vancouver area. The space was beautiful, clean, quiet, and perfect for my quick trip. Their place easy to access and is served by two bus routes that were reliable. Julia and Mike were friendly and very responsive to messages. Would book again and I recommend their place to anyone looking to stay in North Vancouver!

They greeted us from the start, described the area with advice, and they provided a guide for everything you could ever need! We loved how clean the place was and it smelled so good! We loved our stay at Kristine‘s Airbnb! The apartment was great, perfect size. The location was great, nice and centrally located. Kristine was very responsive to our communication and was able to let us leave our luggage there before check-in time since we arrived early! we were really grateful for that. The apartment was clean! the view was great! including a water view and the place was well stocked with everything we needed. Check-in instructions and exit instructions were clear and easy and we would definitely come back and stay here!!! Thanks so much Kristine 😁 we have the best time‼️

Our stay was amazing!! Christina had snacks placed out for us which we loved, the heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, temperature in the room was great, we really enjoyed the hot tub on sight and the restaurant within walking distance. We went for a walk on the nicely maintained walking trail beside the ocean, and then sat by the propane fireplace and watched the sun set. Lots of available covered parking, wish we stayed longer to try out the pool and other amenities. We loved our stay and would give 6 stars if possible, would stay again

One of the few times that the rental was SO much better than the pictures! Absolutely gorgeous place, lovely touches throughout and top of the line amenities. Outstanding place!

Rob hat klare Anweisungen zum Check-In gegeben und ich war ohne Probleme in der Unterkunft. Die Aussicht ist ok, nur beim Lüften hat es leider häufig nach Fett oder ähnlichem gerochen. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und man kann auch das meiste zu Fuß erreichen. sonst sind die Anbindungen an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel auch sehr gut! Im allgemeinen eine sehr gute Wohnung!

This place is so clean and comfortable. The host is super helpful providing tipis and instructions. Nice area to walk around for food and shopping. Easy to get around taking trains too. We love it!!
