Ross’s place is super special, we loved our stay and hope to return! It’s cleaner, brighter, friendlier, comfier and airier than the photos and just to echo everyone else the view is intoxicating and of course can’t be captured in photos. Host was kind, helpful and responsive. Immediate area is very sleepy which is what we were seeking. Amenities were aplenty. Thanks Ross and family!

This place was a perfect getaway spot! The home is clean and the decor is very cute. Large kitchen with all amenities necessary to cook meals while there. Beds more firm than I’m used to, but still very comfortable and cozy. Comfy blankets, sheets, and pillows also. Location was fantastic and rustic with few neighbors. Private access to beautiful little lake with dock and a variety of boats to explore with. Flies and mosquitos could be intense at times, so we really enjoyed relaxing outside within the protections of the screened in porch. Very peaceful and relaxing trip, thanks to this gem. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were so close to the SDC for the MTU graduation! It was the perfect spot. There were lots of games to choose from for the evenings when we were all hanging out. The coffee station was nice. The big desk in the single bedroom was great for our daughter to work on some school work while we were away from home. It was a great experience! I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming for MTU graduation!

Beautiful view and very easy to find. About 20 minutes away from Houghton/Hancock: There was even a turkey there to greet us every morning. 😂 Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the property, it had everything we needed and being pet friendly was a huge plus as it was necessary for my travel plans.

Had a wonderful time and the accommodations were great. Cabin had everything we needed and more, was perfect for our fishing trip! Will definitely stay again, the host Sherry and Bob are super nice people.

If you’re looking for a rustic cabin feel, this stay is perfect! Beautiful wood work and neat rock flooring inside! Very accommodating if you have a dog! We went ATVing and this place has awesome parking for a trailer, near the ATV trail entrance.

EXACTLY what we were looking for: a clean and comfortable base from which to explore the Keweenaw! Quiet residential neighborhood within easy driving distance to Calumet and Houghton restaurants and shopping. This place was even BETTER than we thought. Super tidy, very comfortable and well appointed. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Barry and Carol are incredible hosts. The place is exactly what my dad and I needed for our yearly trip to the UP. We got a flat tire and Barry and Carol were beyond helpful. I thought it was going to ruin our trip but turned into a 30 min drive with a spare, and one of the best Pasties I’ve had which was a win. Thanks again.

This was an amazing vacation from start to finish. Amanda went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. I am so hopeful that we can make time to back during the summer season to kayak and put our feet in the lake. Felt like an extension of home. Thank you so much!

The cutest slice of the portage! Super quiet even though it's not far off the highway. Loved watching the families of ducks come and go!

We had a great time and are already looking forward to returning—this place is such a gem! We booked last minute, and Kara and Erik were incredibly accommodating. The home is charming with an open, airy feel and lots of natural light, especially from the cozy front sunroom. The kitchen layout was perfect for making dinner, and the space had everything we needed to feel right at home. We appreciated the mudroom on rainy days for leaving wet gear, towels, and shoes. We brought out bikes and were pleasantly surprised to find storage space in the outdoor shed. Parking was super convenient—we could pull right up to the back entrance to unload. Kara and Erik were fantastic hosts, and their welcome binder with local recommendations helped us explore. Pet friendly, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed—we’d absolutely stay again! Can’t wait to come back.

The cabin was perfectly located for a the gatherings and celebrations for my nephew’s wedding. Appreciated all the little extra touches. Very well stocked with coffee and snacks. Also liked the little store very close within a 3 minute walk- with lots of options for take out meals.

Loved it! Lacy was so helpful and had the pack n play set up for my little before I got there! The house was perfect for our trip! Clean, comfy, spacious. Felt right at home while we were there. Not much for a yard yet but I understand it’s a work in progress. I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely 5 stars! Check in was easy. The bed- super comfy with nice sheets and the towels were thick and big. The property was peaceful, the home beautiful and Nathan was very responsive and left a lot of good tips on places to see and places to eat. within a mile, a place called silver falls, which Nathan recommended in his 'cheat sheet' an absolutely beautiful place! I will be staying again! thank you, Nathan, for sharing your place!

The copper coast loft had everything and more for a very enjoyable weekend getaway. The host took the time to provide all the little things that you wouldn’t think to pack. Communication could not have been any better which is so crucial heading to a place mostly out of cell service.

The place was clean and cozy. There is a drop off to get to the lake but a rope and ladder was provided which made it a fun adventure to climb down easily. Best part was it kept our dogs from running into the water every chance they got. It was so relaxing and we will definitely come back again!

I needed somewhere to stay near Calumet for an entire month, and this place was perfect for what we needed!! We had every amenity that we could have needed during our stay. The area surrounding the place was beautiful, and just a short drive from Lake Superior. Everything was excellent and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area!

We had the best time at this cabin. It was so peaceful and we definitely plan to come back! Our three big dogs LOVED the fenced in yard and we played a lot of fetch. Our kiddo loved staying in the loft and playing the ukulele!

100/10 Absolutely stunning property! The photos don’t do it justice. The sound of the stream running thru the back and the beautiful woods was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin has everything you could need or want. Just so beautiful inside and out it was very clean and neat. Everything about our stay was wonderful!

We had a great stay. It was very roomy and home like. We had a couple nice home cooked meals in the cabin. This is a great place to stay if you enjoy outdoor activities like we do. Only an hour drive from the Porcupine Mountains. During our down time our family enjoyed the board games and cards.

It was a beautiful little place with lots of property for my kids to run around and play. Was able to find lots of rocks (along with a couple yooperlites)

Tammie’s cabin was absolutely beautiful and everything we were looking for with our family getaway! The cabin was exceptionally clean with lots of provided necessities! Tammie made sure we had everything we would need for our stay upon arrival! The river and property was stunning and we greatly enjoyed watching all of the birds visit the feeders out back! We will definitely be staying here again!
