This was a great home base for me and my dog for a couple of days. Nice to have a full kitchen and the house was super clean. The upstairs bedroom and skylights would be wonderful on a rainy night. As others have mentioned that does make it bright early but we’re early risers so it worked out fine. There are a lot of stairs, both inside and outside the house, so best for spry people and for pets who have some patience about getting outside.

Dog-friendly Beach Condo

Oh! My! Gosh! What a fantastic place to spend a beautiful vacation week. This condo was everything advertised, and then some. The view from the deck was spectacular and we whiled away the hours in comfortable Adirondack chairs with a beachy breeze blowing through our hair. But by far, my absolute favorite place to snuggle in and watch the people, weather, and waves come and go was this GIANT comfy chair placed strategically in the picture window. ...and as advertised, getting my toes into the sand and onto the beach was about 30 seconds away from the front door. The neighbors were engaging and friendly - making it feel like a home away from home. The host was responsive and super-helpful. He made sure we got everything we needed--so much so that we decided to extend our stay an extra day just because we couldn't stand the thought of leaving. We're already planning another trip and we're keeping our fingers crossed that this home will be available. 5 stars across the board!!

Newly Listed Oceanfront Getaway! The Beachcomber

We had such a wonderful time at the Beachcomber in Westport. The hosts were very communicative - after extending our stay (because we loved the house so much!) they got us additional supplies to make sure we were comfortable. The house was spotless and brand new, and the amenities were perfect. Tons of clean and plush towels, games/puzzles in the living room, SmartTVs in every room (we especially loved a movie and nap on the comfy/huge couch in the media room). Sitting in the hot tub at sunset was a dream. The neighborhood was quiet and we had the beach almost completely to ourselves in late May/early June. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and rental property. We'd love to come back!

Commander Palace at Westport Winery Garden Resort

The Commander’s Palace is lovely and comfortable. The backyard pond is charming. The International Mermaid Museum is absolutely wonderful! The gardens are beautiful, and the unicorns who visited for National Unicorn Day were adorable. The food at the Sea Glass Grill (including the Banana Fosters Cream Pie on National Banana Fosters Day, which is the best banana cream pie I’ve ever had) is scrumptious. It only is a short drive to Westport to view the staggering Pacific Ocean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the Westport Winery Garden Resort.
