We loved this home away from home! We've already recommended it to other out of town family visiting. We walked to the park, downtown to Sved's for breakfast and to Riverview Park to enjoy the Mississippi River. We even met several friendly neighbors. Dean was immediately responsive to every email. The house was immaculately cleaned, the beds comfortable and came supplied with everything we needed. My 4 year old grandson calls it our Iowa Home and didn't want to leave Fort Madison. We will definitely stay here on our next family visit!

I cannot say enough about how great Brian's place was to stay. I have stayed at many really nice Airbnb homes, but what makes this one really stand out is the attention to detail. The entire home was so well-equipped and thoughtfully guest-centered. The kitchen had every item we needed to prepare our meals, and everything was new and organized. I stayed at Brian's place with my sister and two cousins, and all of us could not stop commenting on each new little detail we noticed and appreciated, from the assortment of tea bags and having real coffee creamer available in the kitchen, to the wonderful soaps and bathroom amenities,...including Q-tips! We walked in to a wonderful welcome note and perfect instructions to find everything we needed, including an iron and ironing board, along with where to find extension cords and other items if we needed them. Brian was a great host, his place was great, and we would DEFINITELY stay here again!

The laundry area features a washer and dryer side by side, positioned against a concrete wall. A wooden folding table sits nearby, while a small waste bin is placed in the corner. Natural light enters through a window above the appliances.
