Family-friendly vacation rentals in Honokeana Bay

A++++++ owners, place was great for what we needed. Sleeps 2-3 comfy, might be able to squeeze in a 4th. Full mini kitchen, patio, pool/spa/BBQ’s, tennis courts. 1/4 mile walking distance to beach. Cute wildlife w/ birds & chicken all over property. Everyone was friendly. 5-10min from downtown Kihei shopping & grocery stores.

Lovely condo with great amenities in a fantastic location. Apartment was peaceful and very comfortable. Jill was a communicative and helpful host.

The views are beautiful and I felt at home. The studio was comfortable. The beach was walking distance. The area was very quiet and relaxing.

Wonderful Airbnb! Katie was very responsive, helpful, and kind. It was a plus for us that this place had a washer dryer, because we didn’t want to check bags. Had beach towels, umbrellas, and boogie boards for us to use as well!

Recommend: Clean unit with a nice view. Bob and Sue were helpful. Shower, cooktop and furniture were a tad dated but functional. The bed was comfortable. There was not a air conditioning unit in the bedroom- there was a powerful large fan that worked well to push the cold air from the living room AC into the bedroom so you could sleep very comfortably. The property was illuminated at night with tikki torches -added a nice tropical touch. There was plenty of parking available.

Being really sick in Maui is no fun. Being directly across from a beautiful beach was the saving grace! The home was very inviting and well-appointed. The extras, such as beach chairs, was very helpful. Having an in-place washer and dryer was very nice. While we didn't see much of Maui (thankfully, this wasnt our first trip), having a comfortable to rest was very welcomed. Great hosts; highly recommend a stay here.

this condo was awesome! the house came as described and worked perfectly for us. this place works for 3-4 people and truly was in such a great location. two things stood out to me: the view and the groundskeeping. we saw the staff working all day to ensure it was pristine. the view had a beautiful sunset every night. no need to drive to find it. it was out of this world! dee had a book that answered every question you had. great restaurants, things needed before check out, etc. the snorkeling gear and boogie boards were such a great addition my son thoroughly enjoyed these while we were out. would totally book this place again! thank you for the wonderful time

Loved our stay!!! Although it's a condo complex, the room was quiet and private! We enjoyed watching sea turtles from the balcony. We LOVED snorkeling at Honolua Bay! The recommendations from the hosts were priceless and much appreciated!!! 🥰

Beautiful place and area. Right on the beach, which was amazing. Lots of towels, no need to bring your own shampoo, etc. as those are provided. Well stocked kitchen too. Beach chairs, etc. were also provided. Great trip! We will be back!

The stay was special to say the least. It was private and the walkable beach was quiet and beautiful. The town of Kihei has everything you need with close stores, restaurants, gas stations and snorkel rental. The house was perfect for our family with a space our child could sleep free of noise from the rest of the house while we were awake so we could enjoy the ocean from the porch and the jacuzzi tub. Would definitely stay again while on Maui!

Has an awesome view with a relatively short walk to the beach. (We actually saw sea turtles there!!) The location was not far from wherever we wanted to go. The beds were comfy (a big plus for us after multiple back surgeries), as was the sectional sofa. Plenty of room for us to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked and having a washer/dryer available was extremely helpful. I may have missed this in the posting, but the first floor is a separate rentable area than the second floor. Luckily no one was in the first floor so we basically had the place to ourselves. We'd definitely stay again and had a wonderful time!!!

Our ohana had the best time at Pookela Paradise. Mark was extremely helpful and so much aloha. Our family was well accommodated and was so nice to have a place for us to stay in Makawao. Mahalo again Mark! We will definitely be back

Beautiful condo, had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, condo was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning unit in living room and bedroom kept us cool and comfortable. Great location with park and beach right across the street and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. I'll definitely be coming back.

Robert was amazing to deal with! Great communicator, very accommodating of the guest, and seemed very genuine. The Westin at Kaanapali speaks for itself! It has everything…pools, great location, awesome beach front ! Had a great ocean view! And view of the pools! The room was very spacious. It was just two of us but we could have had two more people on the sofa bed easily. Small kitchen with full fridge and ice maker allowed for in room meal accommodations and cold refreshments. Spacious bathroom . It was five star plus! We had a hard time leaving… it was perfect and there is always so much to do in Hawaii.

Pamela’s place is amazing! As a host Pamela was very welcoming and gave a great tour of her place. The view is beautiful and the pool and hot tub are perfect! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Pamela!

The resort is older but well maintained. Beautiful landscaping, friendly staff. nice pool area, BBQ & sand bottom hot tub. we did not have a lanai but there is a group BBQ area. I enjoyed the gym and the peaceful surroundings. The beach is across the street. All in all a wonderful vacation experience.

I have visited Maui three times and this condo was my favorite. The community is well maintained, large pool and lounge area, beautiful views, can swim in the ocean or drive within 20 ish min to other great snorkel locations. I also liked that a couple coffee shops and restaurants were within 0.5-1 mile (walking distance to me). Thanks for a great stay!

We had a marvelous stay with Tammy. Al her guests were friendly too. Would highly recommend this place. Very easy beach access and other public beaches nearby. Don’t be nervous about Lahaina. Plenty of things to see and do. Shop keepers appreciate your business. Lahaina strong!!

We needed a place to stay in Kihei and found the perfect one. I had stayed in a couple of other places on other trips, but this was the best ever! It was extremely clean, with amenities such as dishwasher, air conditioning and washer and dryer. It also had everything available for when we went to the beach, which was a very short walk across the street. It was also a short walking distance to Freds Mexican Restaurant and Moose McGillycuddy's, both great restaurants to eat at. The only difficult thing was taking luggage up the stairs since it was on the second floor. I will be sure to stay there again on my next trip to Maui!!

Fantastic place, even better location! The grounds are lush and beautiful. Slept great in air conditioned bedroom. Millards instructions are detailed and thorough for directions, check in and out -so appreciate that! We truly took advantage of snorkeling just steps away from condo, walking the path to Napili, eating at The Gazebo, and walking the Kapalua Coastal Trail...all without having to drive or park elsewhere!! Millard is a wonderful host.

The resort was as listed. The host was responsive to any and all my questions. The shuttle service that was provided came in handy throughout our visit. It was not as relaxing as I thought it would be. All the pools were crowded with children (even the ‘quiet’ one). The unit we stayed in did not have an umbrella or boogie boards. Speaking with other guests that had Maui resort chairs said it was in their unit. The host did send me 2 companies that we could rent one from but they were very expensive. I would rent from this host again, but not likely stay at the same condo. Overall the trip was great!

Easily the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful location, clean, and they provided everything from boogie boards to beach umbrellas to sand toys for the little ones. Everything was so welcoming about this. And the location is unbelievable. Absolute paradise. They really made you feel right a home. Hoping to visit again. Thank you for everything!

This condo was lovely. Excellent location right on Turtle Bay. Wonderful snorkeling right outside your door. Walking distance to a beautiful beach, the Gazebo restaurant for breakfast, and the 5315 Kitchen & Tiki Bar. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to rent this home again.

We booked an entire week at Jenny’s place. Check-in was easy and there was ample parking. It was exactly as the pictures showed with great views of the ocean and beach from high atop the 4th floor. The unit had AC for the warm days but we absolutely loved the cool breeze that would carry straight through the unit with the front window shades opened. Sands of Kahana was a beautiful property with beach access, grills to use, a large pool and a really nice restaurant/bar that was reasonably priced. We enjoyed our morning walks to nearby Hawaiian Village Coffee to grab a drink and a light pastry. Other amenities nearby include snorkel shops, a sushi restaurant, general store and cafe. We really enjoyed and made use of the beach chairs and umbrella as we swam at nearby Kapalua Beach and Kaanapali Black Rock. Jenny was so friendly and responsive with her emails outlining all you needed to know about the property and surrounding area. We highly recommend this property and will be back!
